Actress Nikki Galrani donates 3 lakhs for Nadigar Sangam building
Nadigar Sangam building works are in full swing. All the government approvals are approved and the Actors and Actress are donating funds by themselves for the building.. Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal announced he will donate 5 crores, Sivakumar,Suriya and Karthi family also announced 5 crores. Money for a small Marriage hall inside the building will be funded by Nadigar Sangam Treasurer Isari Ganesh. In Nadigar Sangam Treasurer KamalHaasan's presence Lyca production house donated 1crore, Veteran actress Vaani sree Rs. 1,55,555/- , Radha 1 lakh, Janani Rs. 40,000/-, Sathya Priya Rs. 25,000/-, JeyaChithra Rs.10,000/-, Tamil Film Cinematographers Union Rs. 5000/-, Nadigar Sangam PRO Johnson Rs. 60,000/-. Now actress Nikki Galrani donated 3 Lakhs. She went to NadigarSangam building and handed over the cash to NadigarSangam Executive committee member Sreeman. Further all Stage actor and actress are donating funds from various cities.
Pothana Bhagavatam Enticing Book Lovers
Tirupati, 29 Apr. 17: The famous Telugu literary work published by TTD, Pratipadartha Sarala Vyakhyana Sahita Potana Bhagavatham has been attracting the book lovers in a big way since its release on April 10.
The eight volume Telugu series penned by renowned Telugu scholar Bammera Pothana has been translated into Telugu by 33 pundits who worked day and night. While the first three volumes were dealt by Nonagenarian scholar Sri Mudivarthi Kondamacharyulu, the remaining five by Octogenarian pundit and Puranetihasa Project Special Officer Sr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah.
The other prominent scholars who contributed to bring out this translated text includes Sri Kasireddi Venkat Reddy, Dr Galla Chalapathi, Prof.Sarvottama Rao, Dr KJ Krishnamurthy, Sri K Suryanarayana and others.
These books were priced at Rs.1265. TTD has also digitised the book online and the book lovers and netizens can even download the series free of cost. The devotees can also procure these books by way of DD in the name of TTD Executive Officer from any nationalised bank and covering letter addressing AEO, Sales Wing, Press Compound, KT Road, Tirupati.

TTD Eo Offers Silk Vasatrams to Simhadri Appanna
Simhachalam,29 April 2017; On the occasion of Chandanotsavam in the famous temple of Sri Varaha Narasimha Swamy in Simhachalam, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju has offered silk vastrams on behalf of TTD onSaturday.
The Chandanotsavam is a famous annual event which is observed on the auspicious Akshaya Tritiya day. For the whole year the presiding deity will be covered with sandal paste layer and on this holy day alone the sandal paste is removed and the devotees throng to witness the Nijarupa Darshanam of Lord which lasts for 12 hours before the Lord is reapplied with sandal paste.
