TTD Coffers Add Rs 62 Lakhs on Akshaya Tritiya
Tirumala, 30 April 2017:The pilgrims purchased the gold, silver and copper dollars of Lord Venkateswara on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya which fell on April 29 which added about Rs.62lakhs to the coffers of TTD.
As a matter of sentiment coupled with devotion, the pilgrims purchased the gold, silver and copper dollars of Lord Venkateswara in a big way for the occasion.
The sales includes 38 numbers of 10grams, 132 dollars of 5grams and 463 numbers of 2grams gold dollars while silver includes 81 numbers of 50 grams, 284 numbers of 10 grams, 632 numbers of 5grams. Apart from gold and silver the devotees also purchased 850 copper dollars in 10grams and 750 in 5grams category.
Sarva Darshan Complex Will Get Ready by this August - TTD Eo
Tirumala, 30 April 2017: The new Sarva Darshanam Complex meant for free darshan pilgrims which is in offing will get ready by this August", asserted TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao
With the summer season pilgrim influx commenced on the hill town, EO inspected the queue lines inside the temple, laddu counters, Mullakunta car parking area, Divya Darshanam and Sarva Darshanam complexes on Sunday.
Later speaking to media persons he said, "With the Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan and Divya Darshan complexes yielding positive results from respective category pilgrims, We will construct similar complex for Sarva Dashan pilgrims which includes the facilities of laddu tokens, luggage deposition etc. in the best possible way in next three months", he added.
TTD CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, EE Sri Prasad, Health Officer Dr Sermista were also present.
Sharwanand’s Radha on May 12
Speaking about the same, B.V.S.N. Prasad shares, “The great response to the first look and teaser of Radha was quite a boost for us. In fact, even the two songs that we have released so far have got good reviews. Presently, the team is in Milan, shooting for the final song after which the film’s production part will be completed. We will soon be announcing the date of the film’s audio release too. We are soon going for censor also, so that we can have our film ready in time for May 12. With this film, Sharwanand’s success streak will go on as the director Chandra Mohan has managed to make a lovable entertainer which has the perfect dose of romance, action, comedy and of course entertainment. This film will surely be an equal treat to both the class and mass audiences.”
