Governor inaugurates Police Barracks at Raj Bhavan






Hyderabad, 24 Nov:       Newly constructed Police Barracks constructed at a cost of Rs.3.42 cr. was inaugurated by Governor Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan and Lady Governor Smt. Vimala Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Friday. The construction of the police barracks was necessitated with demolition of the old quarters which were in dilapidated condition. Budget for the construction of the Police Barracks at Raj Bhavan was provided by the Telangana State Government.
The 150-bedded police barracks named 'Sunivas' was consists of  ground plus three floors with total plinth area of 15,823 sft. The Police barracks also consists of a dining hall apart from volley ball court, Yoga hall, Gym facility, Library and store room. The Police barracks building is connected to the solar power system existing in the Raj Bhavan premises.
Speaking after inauguration of the Police Barracks, the Governor said that the Barracks is meant for the benefit of police personnel deployed on the security of the Governor and told them to make better use of it. Governor also said that the inmates of the Police Barracks should ensure that the barracks premises is kept clean at all times.

Sri Harpreet Singh, Principal Secretary to Governor, Sri APVN Sarma and Sri A.K. Mohanty, Advisors to Governor, were also present on the occasion.

Annamaiah CD Released

Tirupati, 23 November 2017: Renowned spiritual musician Smt Kondaveeti Jyotirmayee presented a melodious rendition of Annamaiah songs in Mahati Auditorium on Thursday.

The SV Recording project of TTD released Annamaiah-Bhagavatgita, a CD sung by Smt Jyotirmayee in connection with auspicious Panchami tithi. 

Later she presented some of the sankeertans including Ramudeethadu, Tagudumuma etc. and enthralled audience.

Vengamamba Project Special Officer Dr KJ Krishnamurty, HDPP DyEO Sri Dhananjeyulu were also present.

Elaborate Arrangements By TTD

TTD has made elaborate security and annaprasadam arrangements for the celestial fete. 

Apart from TTD security, the police personnel deployed at different entry and exit points at pushkarini for devout management and see that no untowards incident takes place during Panchami Theertha Snanam.

On the other hand about 1.5lakh anna prasadam packets and 2 lakh water packets were distributed by Annaprasadam and health wings rwspectively.

Over 250 scouts and 250 srivari sevakulu also rendered impeccable services during the annual fete.

Green Tribubal Chairman Offers Prayers in Tirumala Shrine





Tirumala, 23 November 2017: The Green Tribunal Chairman Justice Swatanter Kumar accompanied by family members offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara on Thursday morning.
At the entrance of the Srivari temple he was accorded warm welcome by TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Later they offered prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara in the Sanctum Sanctorum.  After offering prayers the Vedic Pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam, EO andTirumala JEO  handed over Sri Vari Prasadam to the Green Tribunal Chairman at Sri Ranganayakula Mandapam inside Sri Vari Temple.
DyEOs Sri Rama Rao, Sri Haridranath, OSD Sri Lakshminarayana Yadav and other officials were also present.
