Training to TTD Pupils in Skill Development




Tirupati, 19 June 2018: With an aim to provide job opportunities to the students studying in TTD educational institutions, the JEO Tirupati P Bhaskar called up on the faculty to train them in skill development.

A training programme on Skill development jointly organised by TTD Vidyadana Trust and Art of Living Sri Sri Rural Development Trust in SVETA building on Tuesday. Speaking on this occasion the JEO said, now-a-days though the children are coming out successfully from their academic career scoring high marks, they are unable to convert the same in earning jobs due to their inability to express. The lack of soft communication skills is impacting on their professional career", he felt.

Under the instructions of TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, the students belonging to TTD educational institutions will be trained in Skill development and soft communication skills to build their career.

The JEO said, in the first training programme, the students of SGS Arts, SV Arts and SPWDPG colleges are invited. The teachers will also be given the training tips by the skill development experts, so that they can train their students in communication skills, he added.

Sri Sri Development Trust Director Sri Digvijay said, along with the three year degree course, a special syllabus has been designed to train the students in soft communications skills. This includes time management, character building etc.

Paper Boy Talkie Part Completed

The talkie part of ‘Paper Boy’ film has been wrapped up and the post-production works are underway. Starring Santosh Shoban, Priya Shri and Tanya Hope in the lead roles, the film is being directed by Jayashankar.
‘Paper Boy’ is a simple, honest romantic tale, shot extensively in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lonavala and Pune cities while the songs are canned in Goa and Kerala states. The film is in final stages and so the makers are planning to release it in July.
Director Sampath Nandi is producing the movie under Sampath Nandi Team Works banner and in association with BLN Cinema and Prachitra Creations banners.
On the occasion of director Sampath’s birthday on June 20th, the film first look of ‘Paper Boy’ will be released.

‘U Turn’ shooting in a massive police station set

With consecutive hits at the box office, actress Samantha is riding high and she has a series of interesting films lined up. One among them is ‘U Turn’ in which Samantha is playing the lead role. This is a mystery suspense thriller and Samantha is essaying the role of a journalist.
Coming to the shooting, very recently a small schedule was wrapped up at Times of India office in Hyderabad. The current schedule is progressing in a hugely assembled police station set. The other lead actors of the film, Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran and others are taking part in the shoot.
Pawan Kumar is directing ‘U Turn’ while Niketh is handling the cinematography. Srinivas Chitturi is producing the movie under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
The makers of ‘U Turn’ are planning to unveil the first look of Samantha very soon.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Performed at Appayalagunta


Appalayagunta, 19 June 2018: Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple in Appalayagunta geared up to host the nine day annual Brahmotsavams and as a prelude to it the entire temple was cleansed by performing Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on Tuesday.

This traditional fete was observed between 8am and 11am. The staffs cleansed the entire walls, roofs, puja utensils of the temple with an aromatic mixture called Parimalam.  

Later the devotees were allowed for darshan of Lord Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy from 11.30am onwards.

Meanwhile the brahmotsavams will commence from June 23 with Ankurarpanam on June 22.
