Harikatha Parayanam Attracts Devotees

Tirumala, 20 September 2018 ; The Hari katha Parayanam by Sri Chandra Sekhar Bhagavathar on Nada Neerajanam platform on Thursday enthralled the pilgrims.

The devotional programmes including Carnatic music, bharata natyam and religious discourses by various eminent artistes performed and uses denizens and devotees on various cultural platforms in Tirumala and Tirupati.

All Set for Chakrasnanam

Tirumala, 20 September 2018: The stage is set for Chakra Snanam on Friday morning, with which the annual brahmotsavams concludes, said Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju.

During his inspection at Swamy Pushkarini on Thursday evening, the JEO instructed the duty officers to ensure that there is no problem caused to pilgrims while entering in to the gates.

Later he said, as the sanctity of taking bath in holy waters lasts for the entire day, the pilgrims are requested to maintain patience and take holy dip without any hurry.

Tirupati, 20 September 2018: On the first day of three day annual Pavitrotsavams in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati, Pavitra Pratishta was observed on Thursday.

After snapana tirumanjanam in Yagashala, the utsava muthies of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy flanked by Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken on a celestial procession in the evening.

On Friday, Pavitra Samarpana will be observed.
