Chief Pontiff of Uttaradhi Mutt Offered Prayers to Lord Venkateswara
TIRUMALA, 15 DEC. 18: JAGADGURU SRI SRI SRI 1008 SRI SATYATMA TIRTHA SWAMIJI, Chief Pontiff of Uttaradhi Mutt visited Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Saturday morning. On his arrival at infront of Sri Vari Temple, TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and Temple Priests welcomed him with Temple Honors and led him to Sanctum Santorium.
DyEO Sri Haridranath, Peishkar Sri Ramesh, Bokkasam Incharge Sri Gururaja Rao and others were present.
Elaborate Steps for V-Day Darshan in Tiruchanoor and Appalayagunta - TTD JEO
Tirupati, 15 Dec. 18: All arrangements have been completed for the upcoming two big festive days in Tiruchanoor and Appalayagunta temples said TTD Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar on Saturday.
After inspecting the arrangements at Appalayagunta temple, the JEO told reporters that elaborate arrangements have been made for darshan, Anna pradadam, drinking water, queue lines, flower and electrical decoration, security, and cultural programs on both days .
Chief priest of temple Sri Surya Kumar Acharyulu said Vaikunta Ekadasi is also known as Mokshada Ekadasi and had its basis in the legend of Sri Ramayana protecting All Devatas from tyranny of Ravana.
He said Common devotees darshan will commence at 5.00 AM on December 18. Later the Lord and his consorts will be paraded on mada streets. Next day Chakrasnanam of the Utsava idols will be performed the temple Pushkarani.
