TTD JEo Inspects Avilala Tank Works

Tirupati, 17 Feb. 19: Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham on Sunday morning inspected the ongoing development works of Avilala Tank in Tirupati.

He instructed the concerned officials to speed up the works and develop the tank as the most beautiful place of attraction with walkpaths, greenery etc.

SE 1 Sri M Ramesh Reddy, EE Sri Nageswara Rao and others were also present.

Shiva Kandukuri signs his second film

National Award and Filmfare Award winning producer Raj Kandukuri of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame son Shiva Kandukuri is making his screen debut. This untitled film has wrapped up two schedules of shooting and the entire shooting is likely to get done by April.

The makers are aiming for post summer release. Sesha Sindhu is directing the movie while Varsha Bollamma of Tamil movie ‘96’ fame is playing the female lead role.

Even before completion of the first project, Shiva has signed his second film. On the occasion of Shiva’s birthday on February 18th, an official announcement is made. This movie will be bankrolled by Apple Tree Entertainment banner.

This second film of Shiva will be directed by Bharat who worked as assistant to director Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX100’ fame. This is touted to be a love story and will start rolling from April. Latest music sensation Gopi Sundar is composing music.

Interestingly Gopi is also the music director of Shiva’s first film. So it’s going to be a musical feast.

4th Annual 'SLP 5k RUN' - the largest startup marathon in India, held on Sunday

Hyderabad, February 17, 2018 : The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) - a global network for outstanding founders, leaders, and innovators in the Startup space, in association with NGOs, Nayi Disha - an initiative towards empowering families to support children with special needs and Project Amaaris for Deep Trust - supporting the Deaflympics Players of India;organised the 4^th AnnualSLP 5k RUN, on Sunday from IIIT Hyderabad, Gachibowli. The Run was flagged off by Ms Uma Devi Chigurupati, Marathoner, Double Guinness World Record holder & Executive Director, Granules India, by releasing balloons. Also present on the occasion on behalf of SLP were Prateek Rathi, Norfest; Vivekanand Vellanki, Qalaxia; Srikanth Nimmagadda, Founder CEO, myPIIN and Preeti Sinha, Greens and More. Paracyclist Dharmana Shanamukha Rao along with several Startup entrepreneurs and alumni of SLP, participated in the Run. The objective of the Run is to create awareness and raise funds towards empowering parents/families with children having intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Startup leadership Run India, is an annual startup marathon held in Hyderabad and 5 other cities of India. It is the largest startup marathon in India as well as the largest mass participation startup event in the country. Budding entrepreneurs, outstanding founders, Innovators and students took part in large numbers in the run.

Speaking on the occasion Ms Uma Devi Chigurupati, said, running is a wholesome physical exercise for body. Running five days a week can make tremendous difference to ones physical and mental health and I am a witness to the benefits it can bestow on us. However she cautioned the beginners to begin with lesser distance and improve on it gradually over time.

Dharmana Shanamukha Rao addressing the youth present on the occasion advised them to avoid reckless driving on the roads and follow traffic rules for everyone's safety. He said, one should remember our family back at home and the trauma they too have to endure, along with us in case of an accident. At least for the family's sake we should try and reach the destination safely.
