The prestigious festival is to be held from 15th to 24th June 2019.

TTD JEO Reviews TTD Employees Issues





Tirupati, 15 Jun. 19: TTD Joint Executive Officer in Tirupati Sri B Lakshmi Kantham has urged officials to speedily resolve all Issues of employees working in TTD establishments.

Speaking after a review meeting at TTD administrative building on Saturday morning, the JEO directed officials to speedily complete on-going civil and electrical works in the employees quarters at Vinayak Nagar, Ram Nagar, a compound wall at Sri Govindarajaswamy and Sri Kodandaramaswami quarters. He also advised employees to form coop-housing societies to beget housing plots.

He advised that a seniority list of TTD employees be prepared for speeding up promotions, and for rendering cash less health initiatives for all staffers. He directed officials for set up sports grounds to promote Shuttle, badminton and other wellness games.

The JEO also reviewed the audit issues in all TTD departments.

Magnificent Snapana Tirumanjanam at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple







Appalayagunta, 15 Jun. 19: TTD rolled out spectacular snapana thirumanjanam ritual for utsava idols at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara temple, Appalayagunta on the third day, Saturday morning of on-going annual Brahmotsavams.

The event conducted under the supervision of chief priest and kankana bhattar Sri Surya Kumar Acharyulu was hailed as the pinnacle of Agama traditions. The ritwiks adorned the idols seven garlands made of five traditional flowers and aromatic leaves as they chanted Vedic hymns.

TTD DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, AEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna, temple inspector Sri Srinivasulu and others participated.

Stunning Response to Pilgrims Welfare Facilitation Service (PWFS)

Tirumala, 15 Jun. 19: The stellar contributions of the Pilgrims Welfare Facilitation Service (PWFS) launched by TTD since May 3rd, 2019, to oversee the services rendered to devotees especially in the VQC compartments has received a spectacular response.

The new corps of volunteers was roped in to ensure that all the facilities provided by TTD reached the target beneficiaries- devotees of all categories— in the queue lines of Vaikuntam queue complex-1 and 2. Their task was to coordinate with Srivari Sevakulu and TTD staff and ensure that all Anna Prasadam, coffee, tea, buttermilk, snacks, and drinking water, milk for children n reached the waiting devotees. They also monitored the waiting time of devotees in the compartments, frequency of queue lines release, garbage clearance and cleanliness etc. Nearly 50 member corps worked in two shifts from morning 8 am to 8pm in the compartments.

For service in the PWFS, the TTD preferred devotees, both men and women in 35-65 years age group and especially Gazetted officers or supervisory cadres in the corporate sector.

For online registration in the PWFS, the interested persons should click on Srivari Seva link in the TTD website -www.tirumala.org and opt for available slots of 7 days or 15 days service. Later on, the registered devotees should report for service at the Srivari Seva complex behind the Kalyana vedika.

Pearl Kavacham for Malayappa Swamy and His Consorts












Tirumala, 15 Jun. 19: On day-2 of the ongoing annual Jyestabhisekam at Srivari temple, the utsava idols of Sri Malayappaswamy and his consorts were adorned with Pearl kavacham.

Earlier after morning rituals the temple priests and Veda parayanadars performed Maha Shanti Homam and later Abhideyaka abhisekam in the afternoon.

Later in the evening Pearl kavacham was draped to the utsava idols of Sri Malayappaswamy and his consorts and Sahasra deepalankara seva was performed.

In view of the Jyestabhisekam and Pearl kavacham Dharana that is a once in a year festival, the TTD has cancelled other arjita sevas like Vasantotsavam on Saturday.
