Miss South India 2020 Title Wins Kerala’s Aiswarya

In the eighteenth edition of Miss South India organised at Luxotica Convention Centre in Kannur, Aiswarya S, from Kerala, has become the title winner.

Meanwhile, Vidhya Vijayakumar (Kerala) has been awarded the first runner up title, and Shivani Rai (Karnataka) has been felicitated with the second runner up title.

The title winner has been crowned by former Miss South India winner Nikitha Thomas. At the same time, the first and second runner ups have crowned actress Ambika and actress Abhiramy respectively.

The certificates and other awards for the winners have been presented by Manappuram Finance Limited General Manager and Chief PRO Sanoj Herbert.

A huge prize worth at least one lakh and fifty thousand Indian Rupees and a diamond ring contributed by Kirtilals have been gifted to the title winner. The first and second runner ups have received seventy five thousand Indian Rupees and fifty thousand Indian Rupees respectively.

Miss South India is the first step towards popular International beauty contest Miss Asia.

Manappuram Finance Limited is the prime partner of the event, in which at least 23 beauties from all the five major South Indian states have participated. Mahindra, DQ Watches, Saj Earth Resorts and SajaaS Designer Boutique are the main powered by partners of the event.

The event has been conducted in association with Rotary Club Kannur.

The contestants have been judged by a team of experienced people possess years of experience in the fashion and entertainment sector.

Apart from the main titles, the team has also selected several subtitle and regional title winners.

Vaishnav Tej’s ‘Uppena’ First Look Launched, The Film To Release On April 2nd

Sai Dharam Tej's younger brother Vaishnav Tej’s debut flick ‘Uppena’ first look poster has been unveiled today. The poster shows the young hero in colorful costumes shouting out loud with hands open at seaside.

Underwent physical makeover for his very first film, Vaishnav Tej looks dapper here. His temperament and the sea in the poster justify the title.

The makers with the posters have announced to release the film in summer on April 2nd.

Buchi Babu Sana who worked as associate to legendary director Sukumar makes his directorial debut with Uppena.

New girl Krithi Shetty is also making her debut with this film while Tamil star actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing an important role.

‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad is composing music while Shamdat Sainudeen is handling the cinematography.

Mythri Movie Makers is producing ‘Uppena’ in association with Sukumar Writings banner.

Annapurna Studio comes on board to present the Telugu version of ‘83’

Mumbai, January 23, 2020: Annapurna Studio and Reliance Entertainment join hands to present the much-awaited film ‘83’s Telugu version.

Established by Padmavibhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke awardee, Late Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the year 1975, Annapurna Studio is now successfully run by renowned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. The Studio boasts of a glorious 43 years having produced 38 films and bagging 23 awards. It has also facilitated the making of 2658 films within its state-of-the-art studio facility spanning over 22 acres, in the heart of Hyderabad City.

Happy to present the Telugu version of 83, Akkineni Nagarjuna shares, “83 is all about the great iconic win in 1983 that has made cricket a religion in India. It is a story that needs to be told and I am proud to present one of the most awaited films in India and the rest of the cricketing world.”

The film 83 traces the iconic win of the Indian cricket team at the 1983 World Cup against West Indies as they made history and picked the World Cup for the first time ever placing India on the Global Cricket Map.

Director Kabir Khan says, “As a filmmaker, I have always admired Shri. Nagarjuna for the enormity of greatness he has and having such a superstar's association is a sheer privilege. With his support, the Telugu version of 83 is surely going to be a hit with the local audience.”

Ranveer Singh will be seen stepping into the shoes of Kapil Dev. Also starring are Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi. Deepika Padukone will be seen playing Romi, Kapil Dev's wife.
