Rishi Panchami Vratam held at Sri Vekateswara Vedic University


As part of the TTD spiritual endeavour for humanity during Bhadrapada month, Rishi Panchami Vratam was conducted at the Yagashala of SV Vedic University on Saturday.

 

The Varsity Dean Acharya Goli Venkata Subramania Sharma highlighted the significance of the Rishi Panchami Vratam.

 

After Sankalpam, the archakas performed Ganapati Puja, Prarthana and Rishi Panchami Vratam as per Agama traditions. The event concluded with Nivedana, Neeranjanam, Kshama Prarthana and Mangala harati.

 

The faculty of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University and students were present.

Pavitrotsavam Begins at Thallapaka Temple


As part of spiritual cleansing exercise after year-long festivities, Pavitrotsavam fete began at the Sri Chinna Keshava temple in Tallapaka at YSR Kadapa District on Saturday.

 

TTD is organising the three-day-long program to make the temple sin-free as per Agama traditions.

 

The Pavitra Pratista was performed on the first day with several vaidika rituals like Chatustarchana, Bimbaradhana, Mandalaradhana, Kumbharadana, Pavitra Havanam, Pavitra Homam and sattumora.

 

Temple AEO Sri Muralidhar, temple inspector Sri D Balaji and others were present.

 

Balalaya Program at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple


The ongoing Balalaya programs at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati which is being observed in Ekantam, entered the third day on Saturday.

 

As part of the festivities, Nitya kaikaryas to Swami and Ammavaru were held at the Kalyana Mandapam in the temple and other rituals were performed at the Yagashala in Ekantam.

 

Special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, temple chief archaka Sri P Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Agama adviser Sri Vedanta Vishnu Bhattacharya and others were present.

TTD Pays Tributes to Sri Sadhu Subramania Shastri




On the occasion of the 40th Death Anniversary of the multi-talented scholar, Sri Sadhu Subramania Shastri, his life-size bronze statue at SVETA Bhavan was garlanded in Tirupati on Friday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, SVETA Director Dr Ramanjula Reddy said working as Peishkar of Srivari temple, Sri Shastri as an epigraphist translated the copper plate inscriptions of Tirumala and brought the interesting facts related to Tirumala temple to the public.

 

He said TTD pays tributes to Shastri every year on his Vardhanti for his great contributions of spreading the glory of Sri Venkateswara worldwide by translating the Srivari temple inscriptions.

 

His daughter Smt Sadhu Girija Devi said it was a memorable event that TTD celebrates her father's death anniversary in a grand manner in recognition of his unique services every year.

 

The SVETA Director felicitated Smt. Girija Devi and grandson Judge Sri CN Murthy with Srivari Prasadam. Prominent scholar Dr Mylavarapu Srinivasa Rao and SVETA staff others were also present.

 

Ekantha Balalayam Fete At Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple





The second-day program of the ongoing Balalayam fete at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple was conducted in Ekantam on Friday.

 

After seating both Swami and Ammavaru at the temple Kalyana Mandapams daily kaikaryas were performed followed by rituals at the yagashala from morning to evening.

 

Special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, temple chief archaka Sri P Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Agama adviser Sri Vedantam Vishnu Bhattacharya, AEO Sri Ravikumar Reddy were present.

 

Sri Vinayaka Puja Held at Kapileswara Swamy Tempole






TTD transport wing organised Sri Vinayaka Chavati puja on Friday at Sri Vinayaka temple on the first ghat road to Tirumala.

 

AT KAPILESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

 

At the TTD local temple, Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple Vinayaka Chavati was observed with abhisekam and Archana in Ekantam.

 

Similarly, grand pujas were organised by the TTD at other Vinayaka Swami temple on the second Tirumala ghat road too.

Hon'ble Governor has performed puja at Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal

 

Hon'ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has performed the inaugural puja at the famous






Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal, here, on Friday. 

She said it was a divine  blessing and honour to perform puja to the 40ft tall Ganesha idol at the famous Khairatabad Ganesha Pandal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor extended Ganesh Chaturthi wishes to all the people of the State.

She urged the people, those who are yet to get vaccinated, to take the COVID vaccine on a priority basis.

The Governor stated that the vaccination is the only way to get permanently protected, while adhering to Covid-19 preventive norms. 

The Governor appreciated the efforts of Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MLA Danam Nagender, Corporator Vijaya Reddy and the Khairatabad Ganesha Pandal Committee for their efforts.

Hon'ble Governor of Haryana Bandaru Dattatreya and Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan's family members joined the Governor at the puja.
