One Crore Donation to BIRRD Trust


Chennai based devotee Sri Balu Ramajayan has donated Rs.One Crore to TTD BIRRD Trust and handed over the DD for the same amount to TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at his Bungalow in Tirumala on Saturday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO of TTD said the donor, earlier also has donated to various trusts. A couple of months ago, he has donated Rs. One Crore to SVBC Trust. And also donated for the medicines during the Covid Second Wave", he added.

 

"Upon our request, he has now donated Rs.1.10crore to BIRRD Trust to purchase 200 numbers of state of art beds for the hospital needs. These beds will be very much useful for the patients", he maintained.

TTD Chairman Couple Present Pattu Vastrams to Kanipakam Vinayaka











TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with his spouse Smt Swarnalatha presented pattu vastrams to Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple at Kanipakam in connection with the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams.

 

The TTD Chairman and AP Deputy CM Sri Narayana Swami, MLA Sri MS Babu, RTC Regional Chairman Sri Vijayananda Reddy were received with traditional honours by the Kanipaka temple EO Sri Venkatesu.

 

Both the Chairmen of TTD and RTC traditionally carried Pattu vastrams and garlands on their head adorned with Parivattam. 

 

Amidst chanting of Veda Mantras, they presented Vastrams to Sri Vinayaka Swamy and had Darshan of the presiding deity.

 

The temple Archakas rendered Veda Asirvachanam and later the temple EO presented Thirtha Prasadams and a portrait of the chief deity.

 

CHAIRMAN INSPECTS BANGARU CHARIOT

 

The TTD Chairman also inspected the Golden Chariot at Kanipaka Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swami made under the supervision of TTD for which TTD had contributed 6 crores and some gold.

 

Speaking to media persons later the TTD chairman said the Golden Ratham works were delayed due to Covid. 

 

He said he prayed for relief to humanity from Covid and appealed to devotees to observe all Covid guidelines.

 

The Chairman said TTD had decided to conduct the annual Srivari Brahmotsavam in Ekantam this year also in view of Covid alerts by the State and Central Governments.

 

Responding to a question he said the government would announce board members to all other temples in the state within 10 days.

 

TTD EE Sri Sivrama Krishna, TTD Sthapathi Sri Muniswami Reddy, AEO Sri Murali, Kanipaka Temple officials and Archakas were present.

Sri Sita Rama Alankara Sangeeta Kalyanotsavam Held in Vasanta Mandapam

On the occasion of the closing ceremony of Sodasadina Balakanda Parayanam at Vasantha Mandapam, Sri Sita Rama Alankara Sangeetha Kalyanam held with religious ecstasy on Saturday evening.

 

The artistes from Annamacharya Project rendered Adivo Alladivo, Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanamu, Adaro Paadaro, Nela Moodu Sobhanalu, Sita Kalyana Vaibhogame, Choodaramma Satulala, Pidiketi Talambrala, Ksheerabdi Kanyakaku Sankeertans and Govinda Namalu with melody.

 

The settings arranged in Vasanta Mandapam to match the occasion stood as a special attraction. The Utsava Murthies of Sri Sita Rama were seated opposite each other and celestial Kalyanam performed amidst chanting of vedic hymns as per Hindu traditional wedding.

 

Chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Sri Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu, scholar Sri Prava Ramakrishna and others were also present.







Pavitrotsavams Commences at Tiruchanoor





The annual Pavitrotsvams commenced on a grand religious note at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor on Saturday. 

 

After the morning rituals of Suprabhatam, Sahasranamarchana etc.Dwaratorana Dhwajakumbha Avahanam, Chakradi Mandalapuja, Chatustarchana, Agnipratistha, Pavitra Pratistha were perofrmed.

 

Later in the afternoon Snapana Tirumanjanam to Ammavaru was performed in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

Governor calls for better healthcare infra to treat snakebite victims



Hyderabad, Sept 18: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has called for the improved healthcare infrastructure in primary health centres to offer timely and better treatment to the snakebite victims.

She said that timely treatment and the availability of anti-venom injections, and trained medical staff at the PHCs will help save the lives of the snakebite victims.

The Governor was addressing the National Snakebite Awareness Summit, organised in a virtual mode by the Integrated Health and Wellbeing Council, New Delhi, from the Raj Bhavan, here, on Saturday.

The Governor expressed concern that our country was registering an alarming number of deaths due to the snakebite.

“Most of the deaths are preventable with greater awareness and improved and accessible healthcare,” she added.

The Governor suggested the establishment of dialysis centre attached to the Primary Health Centres to offer the immediate treatment to those with the renal failure due to the snakebite.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan called for the region-specific treatment protocols to treat the snakebite victims and to administer the anti-venom injections, when required.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Integrated Health and Wellbeing Council (IHWC) for its efforts in creating awareness on snakebite prevention and treatment.

IHWC chief executive officer Kamal Narayan, Bharat Serums & Vaccines Limited chief operating officer Vishwanath Swarup, and others were present.

Director Bobby releases the trailer for 'Savitri W/O Satyamurthy'



Savitri, a 60-year-old woman, complains to the police that her husband is missing. She then shows a picture of a 20-year-old man and says that he is her husband. Senior actress Sri Lakshmi, Parvateesam are playing the titular roles. Gogula Narendra is producing it on A1 Mahendra Creations. Chaithanya Konda, who has previously worked under Puri Jagannadh in the direction department, is making his directorial debut. The hilarious entertainer's trailer was today released by prominent director Bobby, who said that he liked the trailer. He also wished the makers all the best.

The trailer begins with Savitri lodging a police complaint about her missing husband. We see senior citizens calling Satyamurthy as their elder brother, classmate and the like. It's suspenseful as to what happened in Satyamurthy's life when he was 20. Comedy, suspense and romance are the main ingredients of the movie.

Producer Gogula Narendra thanked Bobby for releasing the trailer. "We are very happy that he has released the trailer. Our film's shooting is completed. Post-production works have also reached the final stage. We will be unveiling the audio soon."

Director Chaithanya Konda said, "The film is being made as a family entertainer. The teaser and the recently released first single have been a hit. Our film is going to be a laugh riot from start to end."

Nandamuri Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu, Dwaraka Creations’ Akhanda First Single Adigaa Adigaa Released




Nandamuri Balakrishna and mass director Boyapati Srinu have collaborated for the third time to complete hat-trick hits in their combination. Expectations are sky high on the film which is nearing completion. Meanwhile, the makers have begun musical promotions by releasing first single Adigaa Adigaa.


The song features Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal as soon to be wed couple who are waiting eagerly for the most special day. SS Thaman scored a magical melody that hits you right away, wherein singers SP Charan and ML Shruthi croon it in a spectacular manner. Lyrics by Kalyan Chakravarthy describe the admiration of Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal for each other.

Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal’s jodi looks admirable on screen. Choreography looks very nice, wherein production looks grand. The pre-wedding ceremonials are captured pleasingly.
