Suprabhatam To Resume in Tirumala Temple


After almost a month-long break due to Dhanurmasam, Suprabhatam will resume in Tirumala temple from January 15 onwards.

 

It may be mentioned here that Tiruppavai has replaced Suprabhatam in Tirumala temple from December 17 onwards with the advent of Dhanurmasam on December 16 last.

Dhanurmasa Parayanam Concluded


The month-long Dhanurmasa Pravachanam programme held at HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar mutt in Tirumala concluded on a grand note on Friday.

 

Renowned scholar Sri Narasimhan rendered the meaning for each Pasuram every day.

 

On the last day HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy blessed women devotees who have participated in Tiruppavai Pasura Parayanam with Goda Devi Sare and Prasadam.

 

SVBC telecasted the program every day between 8:30am and 9:30am for the sake of global devotees.

 

VISHNU SAHASRA NAMAM PARAYANAM COMMENCES

 

After the completion of Bhagavat Gita Parayanam which won global devout accolades, TTD commenced Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam in Nada Neerajanam at Tirumala on Friday evening.

 

Scholars Sri Kuppa Narasimham will narrate the essence and Sri Raghavendra will render the shlokas. The program will be live telecasted in SVBC everyday between 6pm and 7pm.

Goda Kalyanam held in Tirupati

The month-long Tiruppavai Pravachanam came to a religious end with Goda Kalyanam observed at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Friday.

 

The deities of Sri Ranganatha Swamy and Goda Devi were seated on the platform and the Veda Parayanamdars recited the shlokas performing Goda Kalyanam.

 

The Tiruppavai Pasura Pravachanam by Dr C Ranganathan organised under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD also concluded.

 

Programme Officer Sri L Vijayasaradhi, Project Co-ordinator Sri Purushottam, Program Assistant Smt Kokila and local devotees were also present.












Bhogi Teru held in Ekantam

 On the auspicious occasion of Bhogi festival, Bhogi Teru was observed in Ekantam in




Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Friday.

 

Special Grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu and others were present.

Chakrasnanam Held

 Chakrasnanam was held with religious fervour in Tirumala on Friday.

 

The Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was brought to Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple between 5am and 6am and Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and Chakrasnana Mahotsavam was performed.

 

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were present.
