In connection with Garuda Panchami on August 2, Garuda Vahana Seva will be observed in Tirumala on Tuesday evening between 7pm and 9pm.

 

Sri Malayappa in all His celestial splendour will take a ride on the mighty Garuda to bless His devotees along four Mada streets.

 


Virtual Ticket Holders Darshan Slots to Release On 2nd August


TTD will release the darshan slots for virtual Seva ticket holders for the dates 07.08.2022 to 10.08.2022 in online portal on August 2 at 2pm.

 

The virtual seva ticket holders are requested to make a note of this and book the darshan slots.

Free Food Facility to SVIMS Students - TTD Eo















TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said that students of Physiotherapy, nursing and other para-medical students of SVIMS would henceforth be provided free meals facilities on par with students of other TTD educational institutions.

 

Along with SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi and Sri Veerabrahmam, TTD EO on Monday evening inspected the canteens of several wings of SVIMS hospital.

 

He said a separate canteen would be operated for SVIMS patients, their attendants, doctors and others and steps will be taken for the modernisation of the RO water plant at the Boys hostel.

 

He also sought suggestions and proposals from UG and PG students on how good they could develop their hostels.

 

He also inspected the shelters for patients, canteens outside SVIMS, officers canteen, general ward dining hall, boys and girls hostel, PG hostel and Padmavati hospital canteen and directed officials for keeping it clean, green and hygienic.

Akhanda Harinama Sankeertana Resumes in Tirumala

 Akhanda Harinama Sankeertana resumed in Tirumala on Monday.

 

Speaking to the media on the occasion, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said, Akhanda Harinama Sankeertana was launched by TTD in 2007 where in folk artists from AP, TS, TN and other states take part and present Sankeertans in folklore style. Due to Covid Pandemic, the Akhanda Harinama Sankeertana was stalled by TTD and again after a gap of two years resumed on August 1.

 

He said, every day a dozen teams consisting of 15 members per team present keertans in a folk style which runs round the clock all through the year.

 

The EO said there are 7500 odd teams with nearly 1.30 lakh registered artists who will get their turn to perform through a computerised allotment system. Each team performs for two hours in different shifts on a day and every day 12 teams including those from AP, TS and other states will present Sankeertans, he added.

 

These artists are provided with Accommodation, TA and other facilities.

 

Earlier the EO has commenced the Akhanda Harinama Sankeertana programme by lighting the lamp and performing Puja. SVBC has telecasted the program live between 5:30am and 6am on the opening day.

 

All Projects Program Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar and others were also present.

Governor calls for grand celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Hyderabad, August 1: Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Monday made a fervent appeal for the grand celebrations of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75 years of Independence.

The Governor has exhorted the people to hoist the National Flags atop their homes from August 13 to 15 as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative as a symbol of our patriotism.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan was speaking at the Raj Bhavan School, where she distributed 75 National Flags to as many students and has also handed over five notebooks each to all the students.

“We must celebrate the 75 years of Independence with great pride, honour, and happiness. Ours is the largest democracy in the world and we must take pride in it,” she said.

The Governor also appealed the people to post the tricolour as the profile pic of their social media platforms.

She stated that as part of the 75 years of Independence, the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Telangana, will organise 75 medical camps and an equal number of blood donation camps in the State.

Similarly, Online competitions will also be conducted for the students and prizes will be given to 75 students.

Earlier, the Governor visited the classrooms in the Raj Bhavan school and had greeted and interacted with the students, who were visibly joyous to interact with the Governor.

The representatives of the Bharat Seva Ashram, which sponsored the notebooks for the distribution among the students, were also present.

Pan India star The Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated film LIGER (Saala Crossbreed) directed by ace director Puri Jagannadh is releasing on August 25th. Mike Tyson is making his debut in Indian cinema with Liger.

The recently released trailer and two singles - Akidi Pakdi and Waat Laga Denge have upped the hype and expectations on the film by many folds and makes it the most-anticipated film in Indian Cinema. The other day, The Vijay Deverakonda and Liger team were in a mall in Mumbai. A huge crowd attended the event surprising the Bollywood Press and trade.

And then, the team had visited the set of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather. The Godfather team was shooting for a special song on Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan in a special set erected there. They have taken the blessings of both the Superstars for their film. Both the Superstars wished the best to the team.

In association with Puri connects, the film is being produced jointly by Bollywood's leading production house Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale.

Valmikipuram Pattabhisheka Mahotsavams

The annual Pattabhisheka Mahotsavams in


Sri Pattabhirama Swamy temple at Valmikipuram in Chittoor district will be held between August 2 and 4 with Ankurarpana on August 2.

 

On August 3, Yagashala Puja, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed while in the evening Unjal Seva, Sri Sita Rama Shanti Kalyanam, Hanumantha Vahana Seva will be observed. On August 4, the Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam takes place followed by Garuda Vahana Seva in the night.

 

On payment of Rs.300 two Grihastas will be allowed to participate in the Coronation fete.
