Dhwajavarohanam Held




The traditional temple flag-lowering ceremony, Dhwajavarohanam was held in Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru temple on Monday on night, marking the conclusion of annual Karthika Brahmotsavam in Tiruchanoor.


The Gaja Dhwaja Patham on the temple mast was lowered amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by priests. All the deities who participated in the Nine-day festivities were rendered thanks for successfully taking forward the event and bid adieu on the occasion.


JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Sri Lokanatham, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, temple Archakas and others were present.


Elaborate Arrangements by all Wings of TTD






The nine day annual Karthika Brahmotsavam in Tiruchanoor concluded with utmost religious fervor and gaiety as the devotees had a hasale-free darshan and Panchami Theertha snanam on Monday with the elaborate arrangements made by all wings of TTD in coordination with district administration.


Starting from erecting German Sheds at different points to hold pilgrims to serving Annaprasadam, cleaning the premises from time to time, providing security, performing all rituals as per tenets of Pancharatra Agama, the event went off peacefully with tens of thousands of pilgrims participating in Panchami Theertham.


The services by Srivari Sevaks, scouts, TTD security, police made the event incident free. The parking facilities were made at Shilparamam, Tanapalle Cross, Market Yard, Pudi Road, Tiruchanoor Bypass road for devotees. On the other hand, the medical services to devotees also won appreciation from the needy pilgrims.


The cultural events organized during these nine days were a cynosure. While the flower exhibition and electrical illumination garnered thousands of visitors everyday.

Tirumala Saare Procession Reaches Tiruchanoor Temple













The sacred Sare and ornaments of Srivari temple in Tirumala reached Tiruchanoor in connection with Panchami Theertham fete as part of the final day festivities of Karthika Brahmotsavams on Monday


TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy participated in the fete.


Earlier in Tirumala, at 2.30 am the saree along with Parimalam ( a mixture of Sri Churna, Kasturi, Turmeric, crystal karpooram, green leaves, sandal powder, sindhur and Kichiligadda) were paraded along the vimana Prakara and thereafter the Lakshmi icon in Sri Venkateswara idol chest was given Tirumanjanam in Ekantham.


The procession of Sare comprising Pattu Vastrams, Prasadam, Tulasi and other sacred materials took place on Mada streets and later was brought to Alipiri on foot by temple officials.


The holy procession reached Tiruchanoor via Komalamma Choultries, Sri Kodandaramaswami temple, Sri Govindarajaswami temple, Lakshmipuram circle, Shilparamam up to Pasupu Mandapam.


In this place, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy presented the Sare and also the special jewel gift from Srivaru to Ammavaru on the occasion to JEO Sri Veerabrahmam at Alipiri.


TTD officials and devotees in large numbers were present.

Panchami Theertham Held with Religious Fervor

 The Avabhridotsavam of Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was held with utmost religious fervour on Monday as a part of Panchami Theertham festivities on the last day of Karthika Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor.


The Snapana Tirumanjanam commenced at 10am and lasted till 11:30am. The Goddess and Chakrattalwar were rendered Abhishekam with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, sandal paste and each time of Abhishekam floral Garlands and ornaments made of roses, kesar, dry fruits, amla tulasi were adorned.


Tirupur based donors Sri Shanmugasundaram and Sri Bala Subramanyan contributed for the garlands.


HOLY DIP


In the auspicious muhurtam Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was rendered holy dip in the sacred waters of Padma Pushkarini. All the devotees who were present in the waters of the temple tank also took the dip at the same moment.


The Phala Pushpa Mandapam enhanced the grandeur of Snapanam.


PRESENTATION


The Goddess received Golden Patakalu and Kaustubha Haram as precious gifts from Her Better half  on the auspicious occasion. The jewels weighed around 500 gms worth about Rs. 25lakhs.


CHAIRMAN LAUDS


TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy lauded the efforts of TTD officials, work force, district administration, TTD Security and Pice, Srivari Sevaks, Scouts, and above all thanked the devotees for making the mega religious festival a huge success.
