TTD Board Chief Takes Part in Homams







TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Friday took part in a series of Homams that were performed in Sri Venkateswara Vedic University for the welfare of humanity.


Among them, Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Srinivasa Swamy Samarchana, Satarudrabhisheka sahita Sri Rudra Homam, Navagraha Homam, Sri Sudarshana Homam were performed.


The Homams took place under the supervision of SVVU Vice Chancellor Sri Ranisadasiva Murthy. TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi, SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma and others were present.


Later the Chairman also visited Oshadhi and Tulasi Vanam coming up in the varsity campus premises.

Chairman Releases Book





The TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, released a book on "Managing social organisations liaison from world largest Pilgrimage Centre".

 

The event took place at Sri Padmavati Rest House on Friday in Tirupati. Speaking on the occasion, TTD Board Chief said the book is a compilation of administrative set up on queue line, pilgrim, laddu, cleanliness, annaprasadam management from 2017 to 2021 penned by IIM professors from Lucknow and Ahmedabad, Prof.Ravichandran and Prof. Venkata Ramanaiah respectively.

 

The book also houses, the biggest tonsuring platform in Tirumala, women tonsurers exclusively for women devotees and many other interesting features including the various social service activities by TTD.

 

While complimenting the work of the professors duo, the Chairman asked them to write another book on various development activities carried out by TTD, Post Covid Pandemic including Gold Deposits, White Paper on TTD Properties, Go Adharita Naivedyam, Gudiko Gomata, Gopuja, Go Mandiram, Go Adharita Vyavasayam, Children's hospital, enhancing the standards of TTD educational institutions, employee welfare activities, construction of Sri Venkateswara temples in SC, ST and BC areas, darshan for the backward area devotees during brahmotsavams and vaikuntha dwara darshan etc.

Vontimitta Literary Fete Muses Devotees





The literary fete on Sri Rama Paduka Pattabhishekam on Friday mused devotees on Friday evening at Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam.


On the other hand the devotional cultural programs by TTD also allured the devotees.

Sesha Vahanam Held









As part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavam at Vontimitta, one first day evening on Friday, Sesha Vahanam held.


Sri Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Ramachandra Murty took a celestial ride along mada streets to bless devotees.


Deputy EO Sri Natesh Babu, Manuscripts Project Special Officer Smt Vijayalakshmi, Superintendents Sri Bala Subramanyam, Sri Venkatesayya were also present.

TTD JEo and JC Inspect Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam Arrangements










TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam along with Joint Collector of YSR Kadapa district Sri Saikant Verma on Friday inspected the arrangements done for the ensuing State Festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 5 in view of the visit of the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy on the auspicious day.


As part of the inspection, the JEO and JC visited the temple and verified the route map of CM's visit to the temple and the CM's rest house before starting for Kalyana Vedika to take part in the celestial Kalyanam. 


Later the JEO and JC inspected the Kalyana Vedika and verified the galleries, rest rooms, control room and other arrangements that are being done for the big day on April 05.


All deputation officers from TTD and district administration were also present.


Dhwajarohanam Marks the Grand Start of Vintimitta Annual Fete











The ‘Sri Ramanavami Navahnika Brahmotsavam’ got off to a grand religious start with ‘Dhwajarohanam’ at the famed Sri Kodandarama temple in Vontimitta of YSR Kadapa district on Friday.


The officiating priest (Kankanabhattar) Sri Rajesh Kumar performed a series of rituals including Garuda Dhwaja procession, Garuda Pratista, Prana Pratista, Netronmeelanam, hoisting of the sacred Garuda flag atop the temple pillar flagpost, signalling the beginning of the nine-day festival. The Garudalwar flag is a symbol of invitation to the deities of all the 14 celestial worlds to descend on the earth to witness the grand mega festival. Garuda Ragam, Garuda Melam, Garuda Talam and Garuda Slokas were recited as per Pancharatra Agama Vidhi.TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Veerabrahmam, said TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the annual brahmotsavams and the important days includes Hanumantha Vahanam on April 03, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 05), Rathotsavam on April 06, Chakra Snanam on April 08 and Pushpa Yagam on April 09. 


He said the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy will offer Pattu Vastrams on behalf of the State Government to Sri Sita Ramulavaru on the day of Kalyanotsavam on April 05. Rajampet MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy, Joint Collector Sri Saikant Verma, Trainee Collector Sri Rahul Meena, temple DyEO Sri Natesh Babu and others were present.
