Akhanda Balakanda Parayanam Held








The 15th edition of Akhanda Balakanda Parayanam was organised on the Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala on Saturday.


The Veda pundits, scholars and devotees recited 89 shlokas from chapters 71 to 73 on the occasion.


SVBC live telecasted the programme between 7am and 9am for the sake of global devotees.


Sri Rama in Venugana Alankaram













Sri Rama in Venuganalankaram blessed devotees on the second day morning as part of ongoing annual brahmotsavams at Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam on Saturday.


Deputy EO Sri Natesh Babu, Manuscripts special officer Smt Vijayalakshmi, AEO Sri Gopal Rao and others were present.


TTD Begins Divya Darshan Tokens






TTD resumed issuing Divya Darshan tokens from Saturday onwards at Alipiri and Srivarimettu footpath routes on a trial basis.


At Alipiri footpath route, per day 10,000 tokens will be issued at Galigopuram and in the Srivarimettu footpath route, every day 5000 tokens willl be issued at 1250th step.


The tokes will be issued to the devotees in person based on their Adhaar ID proof only.


It may be mentioned here that TTD stopped Divya Darshan tokens almost three years ago due to Covid Pandemic. Upon the request from devotees, TTD has resumed Divya Darshan tokens on an experimental basis.

Sanjeeva Raya Hanuman







Anjaneya as Sri Sanjeeva Raya has been blessing devotees at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district.


Usually, the idol of Hanuman stays alongside Sri Rama in the sanctum of every temple dedicated to Lord Rama. But the unique feature is, the Sanjeeva Raya temple is located opposite Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam.


The legends says that when the presiding deity of Sri Kodandarama flanked by Sita  Devi and Lakshmana Swamy originated at Vontimitta, they were in exile and not yet met Hanuman. So Anjaneya is not present in the sanctum

Sri Pattabhi Ramalayam Rathotsavam on 2nd APril

 SRI PATTABHI RAMALAYAM RATHOTSAVAM ON APRIL 2


TIRUPATI, 01 APRIL 2023: As part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in the ancient TTD sub-temple of Sri Pattabhi Ramalayam, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam was observed with devotional fervour on Saturday at Valmikipuram in Chittoor district.


Special Grade DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Gurumurty, Kankanabhattar Sri Krishna Prasad, Agama Advisor Sri Manikantha Bhattar, other temple officials  and devotees were present.


On April 2, the most famous Rathotsavam commences in Valmikipuram at 9:15am.


The annual fete concludes with Chakra Snanam on April 4 and Pushpayagam on April 5.






Annual Spring Festival - Vasanthotsavam in Tirumala from 3rd to 5th April



The annual festival of Spring-Salakatla Vasanthotsavams will be observed in Tirumala from April 3 to 5.


This three-day festival will be observed in such a way that it concludes on the auspicious Chaitra Suddha Pournami.


Every day during these three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be observed between 2pm and 4pm at Vasanta Mandapam in a grand manner.


On the second day morning between 8am and 10am there will be a procession of the golden chariot.


In connection with this festival, TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days while on April 4, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva also remains cancelled.

Hamsa Vahana Seva Observed















The ongoing annual brahmotsavam Vontimitta has witnessed Hamsa Vahana Seva on Saturday evening.


On Sri Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Ramachandra Murty took out a celestial ride Hamsa Vahanam with a colourful procession led by Bhajana teams.


Deputy EO Sri Natesh Babu, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, Manuscripts Special Officer Smt Vijayalakshmi and others were present.


Earlier, in the evening during Unjal Seva the devotional vocal concert by Sri Subrahmanyam and team, Mangaladhwani by SVCMD faculty, religious discourse by Sri Hayagreevacharyulu, Harikatha by Smt Nagamani allured devotees.
