Ram Charan, Chosen to Represent Indian Film Industry at G20 Summit





Ram Charan, the internationally acclaimed actor, has once again brought pride to India in the remarkable year of 2023. Alongside his extraordinary performance in the film RRR, which garnered immense global acclaim, he has forged deeper connections with his extensive fan base worldwide.


Ram Charan has been selected as the esteemed representative of the Indian Film Industry, attending the G20 Summit in Srinagar. In this prestigious role, he showcased his personal experiences and highlighted India's potential to become one of the world's leading filming destinations.

During his session, the Ramcharan emphasized India's captivating cultural diversity, picturesque locations, cost-effectiveness, and availability of state-of-the-art technology, making it an ideal location for film production. The focus of his dialogue was centred around film tourism, encouraging active participation from G20 member countries.

Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Maha Samprokshanam Rituals Commences







In connection with the completion of Vimana Gopuram Gold Malam works, the Maha Samprokshanam rituals commenced in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Sunday on a grand religious note in Tirupati.


In the morning, Viswaksena Aradhana, Panchagavya Aradhana, Vastu Homam, Raksha Bandhanam, Kala Sthapana were performed. In the night Kalakarshana will be observed. These rituals will conclude on May 25.


Both the Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, Pradhana Archaka Sri Srinivasa Deekshitulu, DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar and others were present.


Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam



In connection with the annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Narayanavanam, the traditional temple cleansing fete, koil alwar tirumanjanam will be observed on May 24.


The annual brahmotsavams are scheduled between May 31 to June 8. The entire temple and sub-temples in the temple complex will be cleaned with an aromatic mixture called Parimalam.


TTD JEo Inspects Arrangements for Maha Samprokshanam







TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Sunday inspected the ongoing arrangements for Maha Samprokshanam of Srivari temple scheduled on May 22 at Rampachodavaram in Alluri Sitarama Raju district along with the officials concerned.

He directed to keep ready with sufficient buttermilk and water in view of the scorching temperature besides Annaprasadam and shelter facilities for the sake of devotees participating in the event on Monday.

He has also instructed the concerned to make electrical illumination and floral decorations in a befitting manner.

Religious Activities Schedule on May 22

9am and 9:30am: Maha Samprokshanam in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam

10am onwards: Darshan to devotees

11am: Dhwajarohanam

5pm onwards: Srivari Kalyanotsavam and Dhwajavarohanam

In the inspection, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, PRO Dr T Ravi, DyEO Sri Venkataiah, VGO Sri Manohar and others were present.

Yuva Sangams help students discover the soul of India: Governor

“The student exchange programmes taken up under the Yuva Sangam initiative enable the students discover the true soul of our country,” said Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan.

She said that the students from different states are having the immersive experience of other states through their visits as part of the Yuva Sangams and are discovering the true glory and our unique cultural connect of our country.

The Governor was interacting with the students from Uttarakhand, visiting Telangana State as part of the Yuva Sangam, jointly coordinated by IIT, Roorky, and NIT, Warangal, at Raj Bhavan, here, on Sunday evening.

Referring to the overarching initiative of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharath, as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, she said that these initiatives are helping the younger generation to understand our glorious past, our progress, and work for our even glorious future of the country.

The students from the Uttarakhand as part of their Yuva Sangam tour have visited the historic Ramappa Temple, Thousand Pillars Temples, Sammakka-Sarakka tribal deities at Medaram, and have also visited the pump houses of irrigation projects in Warangal and Karimnagar districts. In Hyderabad, the Uttarakhand contingent also visited T-Hub, Tank Bund, Golconda Fort and other important places.








The Governor appreciated the functionaries of the IIT, Roorky, and NIT, Warangal, for coordinating this Yuva Sangam and facilitating the mutual student exchange programmes between the two states.
