UPI Payments for More Transparency - TTD EO

 The monthly Dial your EO programme was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Sunday.

 

TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy received feedback from 18 different pilgrim callers from across the country in this live phone-in programme. Some excerpts:

 

When a pilgrim caller Sri Sadasivudu from Warangal sought EO to consider cash payments in stead of UPI for rural devotees, the EO replied him TTD has introduced UPI payments for more transparency. "Even the Government of India is also encouraging cashless transactions", he answered.

 

Another pilgrim caller from Dubai Sri Haribabu suggested EO to enhance vigil as many prohibited items like cigarette packets, pan were seen in toilets at Tirumala during his last visit.

Answering the caller the EO said, we will definitely enhance the vigil. But it is also the duty of every devotee of Srivaru to adhere to TTD norms. To protect the sanctity of Tirumala TTD has formulated certain norms which includes the Do's and Don'ts, carrying of certain prohibited items etc. Devotees also should extend their co-operation", he maintained.

 

A caller Smt Rajeswari from Proddutur sought EO to issue Divya Darshan tokens at Galigopuram to which EO replied it is not possible as that might result in stampede due to convergence of large number of devotees.

 

When a caller Sri Madhu from Hyderabad suggested EO to have a separate WhatsApp number for raising authentic complaints, the EO replied him already it exists besides Call Centre.

 

Sri Namala Swamy from Kakinada sought EO to release the online quota for Srivari Seva vacancies or cancellation, to which EO answered him the suggestion will be looked into. The EO also gave a call to the youth to form a group to offer services in Tirumala shrine during the summer vacation alone as unprecedented pilgrim rush is being witnessed.

 

A caller Sri Dinesh from Vijayawada brought to the notice of EO that the maintnance of Asta Vinayaka Rest House need to be reformed to which EO said already actions have been initiated which will be implemented in a few days.

 

When Sri Raja Rao of Nandyal suggested EO of separate door besides Vendi Vakili to avoid pilgrim congestion, the EO said this has been a challenge for all the Administrators since several decades since it involves Agama. "For any change to be brought in the temple complex, it needs the approval of Agama Advisors, Pontiffs otherwise it invites serious criticisms. Even our predecessors have also tried in vain as it is a very sensitive issue", he asserted.

 

Sri Pridhviraj from Karimnagar sought EO to enhance free buses in Tirumala to which EO answered him that already 10 buses are operating and another six will add to tge fleet soon.

 

Among others Sri Murali Mohan and Sri Narsinga Rao from Vizag, Sri Ramesh Reddy from Chennai, Sri Ashok and Sri Kiran Kumar from Tirupati, Sri Nagavilas from Ongole, Sri Sairam from Bhadradri, Sri Srinivas, Sri Visveswaraiah and Sri Raghuram from Hyderabad have also made some valuable suggestions to which the EO replied the probabilities will be looked into.

 

JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao and other senior officers were also present.








Maha Samprokshanam Fete Commences at Jammu Temple







The Maha Samprokshana fete of the newly built Sri Venkateswara temple at Majin village in Jammu on the banks of Suryaputri River has commenced on Sunday morning.

 

In the morning the Agama tradition of Panchagavya prashana was performed with Punyahavachanam with Gomutram and Go mayam (cow dung). Thereafter 18 Homa Kundas were installed at Yagashala where vastu homa, Akalmasha prayaschita homa and Raksha bandhanam rituals were performed. Later in the evening Agni pratista, Kumbha sthapana, Kumbha Aradhana and visesha Homas will be conducted.

 

One of chief Archakas of Srivari temple Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu, Kankana Bhattar Sri Ramakrishna Dikshitulu, Dyeo Sri Gunabhushana Reddy, Sri Shiva Prasad, EE Sri Sudhakar, Deputy EE Sri Raghuvarma, AEO Sri Krishna Rao, AE Sri Seetharamaraju, superintendent Sri Subramanyam, temple inspector Sri Saikrishna and others were present.

 

Highlights of Dial Your Eo Program



TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy addressed the devotees from Annamaiah Bhavan on Sunday as part of Dial-Your EO program and answered their queries and heard their suggestions.

 

Following are excerpts from the media conference held later.

 

SUMMER ARRANGEMENTS AT TIRUMALA


- All TTD departments coordinating efforts to ensure that devotees coming for srivari Darshan are not inconvenienced in any manner.


- In this direction TTD has limited the VIP breaks Fri-Sun to only protocol VIPs till July 15 and also cancelled the discretionary quota of Suprabatha Seva in order to provide Srivari Darshan to more and more common devotees.


- TTD staff in coordination with Srivari Sevakulu and all departments are rendering efficient services to devotees.


- During heavy crowds it takes 2 days for srivari Darshan for devotees who come without tokens .I appeal to devotees to be patient in such circumstances.


JYESTABHISHEKAM AT SRIVARI TEMPLE


- The Jyestabhisekam festival conducted at Srivari temple from June 2 concludes on Sunday.

  

REVIEW ON SECURITY AT TIRUMALA

 

- A two day review on security arrangements were held by AP Home Secretary Sri Harish Kumar Gupta recently. On the lines suggested by him TTD is prioritising the security arrangements at Tirumala.

 

SUNDARA TIRUMALA- SHUDDHA TIRUMALA

 

- All TTD officials, employees and Srivari Sevakulu participated voluntarily in the month long Sundara Tirumala- Shuddha Tirumala program and made it a success,


- During the month 15,441 regular employees,13351 corporation employees,6000 Srivari Sevakulu and officials of the Municipal Corporation,collectorate,police and courts volunteered in the cleaning program in various locations of Tirumala including two ghat roads, both footpaths etc.


- On May 31 former CJI of Supreme Court Sri NV Ramana also participated in the massive program to remove plastic wastes in Tirumala and I personally thank him.

 

ACTION PLAN TO MAKE GHAT ROADS AS ACCIDENTS FREE


- Some accidents occurred on ghat roads recently due to drivers neglect and bad vehicle conditions.


- Now TTD has prepared a long standing action plan to avoid accidents. We appeal all drivers of taxis and private vehicles to travel only at the speed levels prescribed by the TTD.we advice drivers to avoid phone talking or overtaking at turnings and speeding during the drive to Tirumala.

SVBC


- Devotees from all over India and overseas participated in the Parayanams telecast by SVBC onMay16  at the Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala .In four teams Veda pundits chanted 2808 shlokas of Sundarakanda akhanda Parayanams.


- Similarly Ayodhyakanda Parayanams is continuing at Nada Niranjanam from May 17 onwards.


VEDIC HERITAGE CORRIDOR


- With objective to impart ancient knowledge to future generations TTD has set up the Vedic Heritage corridor at the SVV university on 190 aspects of knowledge embedded in Vedas like space science, management strategy, mathematics, health management, Yoga and Diet etc. .


- The SVBC plans to telecast a ten minutes episode each on Ancient Indian knowledge treasure for updating on, social media as well for adaptation in the modern lifestyles of devotees.


- The picture gallery at the corridor is, open during working hours for all devotees to gain insights.

 

BHUMI POOJA FOR SV TEMPLE AT MUMBAI ON JUNE 7


- Maharashtra government allocated 10 acres in NAVI Mumbai to TTD for construction of SV temple .Sri Gautam Singhania,of Raymond Company has come forward to donate ₹100 crore for construction of the temple .


- Arrangements are being done to conduct bhumi puja on June 7.


- Maharashtra CM Sri Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Sri Devendra Phadnavis and other prominent devotees will participate.


- Similarly TTD conducted bhumi puja for construction of SV temple at Chintakunta in Kothapalli mandal of Karimnagar district on May 31 last.

 

MAHA SAMPROKSHANA FETE AT SV TEMPLE IN JAMMU


- As part its campaign to propagate Sanatana Hindu Dharma, TTD is building SV temples in all prominent towns and cities of the country.


- TTD is performing a grand Maha Samprokshana festival from June  3-8 at Majin  village of Jammu state in the 60 acres of land granted by J&K government at a cost of ₹30 crore .


- Recently the Maha Samprokshana fete was performed for SV temples built in Seethampeta in Rampachodavaram.

 

SUCCESSFUL MEDICAL SERVICES


-: On a single day six cochlear implants and cleft palate operations were performed at the BIRRD hospital by prominent doctors.


-Similarly over 50 hunch -back operations were performed at the BIRRD hospital this year.


RECORD 1450 HEART OPERATIONS AT SRI PADMAVATHI HRUDAYALA

 

- At the Sri Padmavati Hrudayalaya a record heart operations were performed for 1450 children including those from other states freely under the Arogyasree and Ayushmann Bharat scheme with support from Pranadan scheme.


BEWARE OF FAKE EMPLOYMENT ADS


-: TTD has cautioned that some vested interested persons were cheating unemployed youth with fake advertising through social media of providing jobs in TTD.


- The IT department of TTD has already filed several police complaints about such fake ads and social media which publicised them.


- TTD appealed to unemployed persons to be not carried away by such ad

- Srivari Darshan: 23.38 lakh devotees


- Hundi collection: ₹ 109.99 crores


- Srivari Laddus sold: 1crore and six lakhs


- Anna Prasadam: 56.30 lakhs


- Kalyana Katta: 11 lakhs

The three-day-long Jyestabisekam festival at Srivari temple concluded on Sunday with the utsava idols of Sri Malayappaswami and his consorts clad in Bangaru ( golden ) kavacham blessed devotees.

 

As per tradition, the Gold Kavacham will remain on utsava idols till the next Jyestabisekam next year.

 

As the utsava idols remained in the sampangi prakaram temple archakas and Veda parayandars conducted the Maha shanti Homa and thereafter performed snapana thirumanjanam fete to Swami and his consorts ahead of adornment of golden kavacham and visesha pujas. 

 

For the first time in public Darshan Swami and Ammavaru will appear in their new Bangaru kavacham and bless devotees.

Teppotsavam Concludes at Tiruchanoor Temple












The five-day Teppotsavam festival ( flat festival) of Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor, concluded on Sunday night with the colourfully decorated flat doing seven rounds in the Padma Pushkarini.


Earlier  Goddess blessed devotees on the favourite Garuda Vahana on the Mada streets and blessed devotees.


In the morning after Nitya Kaikaryas, the Sahasra namarchana and nityarchana were observed and thereafter grand abhisekam was performed to Goddess at the Nirada Mandapam.

Prasnna Venkanna Rides Garuda Vahanam










On the fifth day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam celebrations of  Sri Prasanna Venkateshwara temple, Appalayagunta, Swami Rode his favourite Garuda Vahana and blessed devotees on Sunday.


The most important Vahana of the Brahmotsavam festival, Garuda signifies service, devotion to parenthood, spotless character and community welfare activities. It is the strong belief of devotees that Swami Darshan on Garuda Vahana granted all Punya and moksha.

Narayanavanam Venkanna Rides Garuda Vahanam





On Sunday night as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam celebrations of Narayanavanam Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Swamy blessed devotees from his favourite Garuda Vahana.


Garuda symbolises sharanagati concept of service-oriented devotion and Swami riding this vahana highlighted the motto to serve humanity as devotion to him.


DyEO Smt Nagaratna, Superintendent Sri Ekambaram and Temple Inspector Sri Nagraj were present.
