Purasaivarithotsavam in Tirumala








The 970th Avatarotsavam fete of Sri Ananthalwar, a prominent disciple of was observed in Anantalwar Gardens (Purasaivaritota) in Tirumala on Sunday under the auspices of TTD's Alwar Divya Prabandha Project. 


On this occasion, more than 300  successors of Sri Anantalwar organized "Nalaira Divya Prabandha Gosthiganam".


On this occasion, Tirumala Junior Pontiff Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy praised Sri Ananthalwar who started offering flowers to Swami during his 102 years of life span.


Later, a message was given on the life characteristics of the Anantalwar by eminent Sri Vaishnava scholars who attended the event from different parts of the country.


TTD Alwar Divya Prabandha Project Officer Sri Purushottam, Anantalwar Descendants Sri Rangacharyulu, Sri Govindacharylu and a large number of devotees participated in this program.

Brahmotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple from 1st to 10th March




The annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati will be celebrated from March 1 to 10 with Ankurarpanam on February 29.


Vahanaseva will be observed daily between 7 am and 9 am and again from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Ratha Saptami at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple on 16th Feb




Rathasaptami festival will be celebrated on February 16 in Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple in Tirupati.


It is customary to organize Rathasaptami festivals in the local temples of TTD to celebrate Surya Jayanti on Magha Shuddha Saptami every year. 


On that morning, devotees eagerly wait to see the wonderful sight of the first rays of the Sun radiating on the Lord's forehead, navel and lotus feet on the Surya Prabha Vahanam.


In the temple of Sri Kodandarama Swamy, devotees witness Lord on seven different Vahanams from morning to evening.

Ayodhyakanda Akhanda Parayanam Held








The Seventh Edition of Ayodhyakanda Akhanda Parayanam was held at the Nada Neerajanam stage in Tirumala on Sunday.


SVBC telecasted the program live from 7 am to 9 am for the sake of global devotees.


A total of 155 slokas from 22 to 25 Sargas in Ayodhyakanda and 25 slokas of Yogavasishtam and Dhanvantari Mahamantram were recited.


SV Veda Vijnana Peetham, SV Vedic University, TTD Vedic Scholars, TTD Sambhavana Scholars, Sri Annamacharya Project, National Sanskrit University Scholars, devotees participated in this spiritual program.
