Sri Harpreeth Singh taken over charge as Prl Secretary to Governor today

The Special Chief Secretary to Governor, Dr Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, has earned glory to the Raj Bhavan, said the Governor, Sri ESL Narasimhan, at a farewell party hosted for him here today.

He has extended his services without any bias and his sincerity and commitment has brought laurels to the Raj Bhavan, the Governor said.  Dr Ramesh Kumar, who has been associated with the Raj Bhavan for the past seven years superannuated today and the farewell was arranged at Raj Bhavan on this occasion.

The Governor said that Dr Ramesh Kumar stood solidly behind him and rose to the occasion several times to extend proper guidance to him during critical times. He is a valuable colleague with admirable and meticulous planning and an outstanding officer. He is an asset to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and he will bring accolades to his new assignment too, the Governor stated.

Responding to this, Dr Ramesh Kumar said that he was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to work with the Governor and under his able leadership he has learnt several things, including certain minute issues.

The Governor is very compassionate and benevolent towards all the officers and staff working with the Raj Bhavan, he added.

Earlier, Sri Harpreet Singh, has taken over charge as the Principal Secretary to the Hon'ble Governor in the presence of the Hon'ble Governor, Sri ESL Narasimhan, Sri APVN Sarma and AK Mohanthy, the Advisors to the Governor,  and other officers and staff members.

Dr Ramesh Kumar will be taking charge as the State Election Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh on Friday, April 1st at 2.15 PM.

Felicitations

Later, the Governor felicitated Dr Ramesh Kumar, Dr Sai Sekhar, ADC to Governor who is repatriated to the Government of Telangana, Sri Sambasiva Rao, Accounts Officer and Sri Radhakrishna, Junior Clerk who are retiring from service today due to superannuation. The Governor presented a shawl and memento to all of them.
