Date XXX, The Westin, Mumbai: Milestones are always celebrated with a bang, and there was no better example of it than Grazia India's eighth anniversary celebration along with the sixth edition of the Grazia Young Fashion Awards. As the magazine paid an homage to exceptional women with fantastic achievements across all fields, it also dedicated the evening to 2016's winners of the Grazia Young Fashion Awards. This was a talented bunch of designers, who are paving the way towards the future of Indian fashion.

Innovation in Textile/Construction/Silhouette – Ilk by Shikha Grover Goel and Vinita Adhikari
Sustainable Aesthetic – Doodlage by Kriti Tula
Accessories, Jewellery – Misho by Suhani Parekh
Accessories, Bags (Tie) – Poem by Ridhima Sekhri and Cord by Pranav Guglani and Neha Singh
Menswear – Sahil Aneja
Breakthrough Designer – Suket Dhir
The Westin Goregaon played host to the fashion industry as the best of them walked the pink carpet to attend the awards night. The night opened with a fitting anthem by Manasi Scott and smoothly flowed into the event with the awards ceremony. It was also a evening of surprises – as the awards were immediately followed by a fashion show of Pepe Jeans' Spring-Summer 2016 collection. However this was not a regular show, and instead of models, the ramp was filled with friends of Grazia, dancing up a storm. These included Ali Fazal, Ashiesh Shah, Arjun Kanungo, Elton Fernandez, Vicky Kaushal, Kunal Rawal who showcased the men's collection, and Miss Malini, Priyanka Bose, Gabriella Demetriades, Radhika Apte, and Shilarna Vaz who sported the women's collection.
The guests in attendance also included the muses of the GYFA awards who walked the ramp along with them. In addition there were also the award presenters like Sabina Chopra, Jatin Kampani, Pernia Qureshi, Colston Julian, Anita Dongre, Amrita Puri, Troy Costa, Wendell Rodricks, Suneet Verma, Ayushman Khurrana, Atul Kasbekar and Sonakshi Sinha.
The Grazia Young Fashion Awards is judged by two separate panels from Mumbai and Delhi, and this year's judges included Sabina Chopra, Tina Tahiliani Parikh, Saket Dhankar and Aparna Badlani from Mumbai and Namrata Joshipura, Asha Baxi, Rakesh Thakore and Sunil Sethi from Delhi.
The piece de resistance of the evening was saved till the end. In addition to the nine awards, there was also a special set of categories. This included Grazia Style Debutant award for Athiya Shetty, the Grazia Muse for Kalki, Grazia and Pepe Crush of the Year for Fawad Khan, and the Grazia Trailblazer of the Year to Sonam Kapoor.
The night was energetic with a fantastic turnout of guests from the fashion and film fraternity. It was a celebration of achievements as well as a look ahead towards an exciting future for Indian fashion
