Commemoration of MeeSeva 7 Crore even and launching of 24 new services through MeeSeva

"MeeSeva" a good governance initiative that has brought in accountable, transparent and innovative delivery of Government services to the citizens. MeeSeva has redefined the way Government services are delivered to citizens through integrated and collaborative approach of 36 departments covering about 350 services. MeeSeva has taken government to the citizen's doorsteps by providing these 350 services through the 4000 franchisee centers and 110 Government owned centers spread across the state. The platform serves about 1,00,000 citizens a day on an average preventing their need to visit the Government offices.

The vision of the initiative is anywhere/any time/any mode service delivery to 3.5 crore citizens of the State of Telangana.

A program is being held on 22^nd July at 11 AM at Haritha Plaza to

a)     Commemoration of completion  of 7 Crore transactions through Mee Seva: It is a significant achievement that Mee Seva platform has completed 7 crore mark transactions. This means that this many people were prevented from visiting the government offices  saving citizens time and money. The state may be perhaps first in the country to reach this milestone. This success is achieved with the coordination of Departments, Districts, VLE's, etc.,

 

b)     Launch of 24 New Services:  24 new services pertaining to various departments of Police(4), Civil Supplies(9), Legal Metrology(8) and CDMA(3) Departments are being launched in the Mee Seva platform

            Shri K.T. Rama Rao, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Industries & MA&UD, Shri. J. Raymond Peter, IAS, CCLA, Shri JayeshRanjan, IAS, Secretary to Government ITE&C Department, Shri M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad, Dr. Rajat Kumar, IAS, Prl. Secretary to Government Civil Supplies and Controller Legal Metrology, Shri. Sandeep Kumar Sultania, IAS, Transport Commissioner,  Sri G.T. Venkateshwara Rao, IRS, Commissioner, ITE&C Department  will be present on the occasion.

Award Distribution: On this occasion,  ITE&C Department will felicitate the best performing Operators, Franchisees, VLE's, Employees, the District Administration and all stakeholders for their support for the successful implementation of the MeeSeva project.
