ALL SET FOR BIG RELIGIOUS EVENT-TIRUMALA JEO

Tirumala, 1 October 2016: The hill town Tirumala is decked up to host the nine-day mega annual event of Srivari Brahmotsavams with all arrangements in place, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

A reviewing on the visit of Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu was held in the chambers of JEO in CRO at Tirumala on Saturday.

After the review meeting, speaking to media persons, the JEO said, the Chief of the State will present the silk vastrams on behalf of state government on first day of Brahmotsavams on October 3. "The honourable CM will reach Sri Bedi Anjaneyulu Swamy temple by 7:30pmand reach the main shrine in a traditional procession carrying the new silk clothes over his head. The new year calendar and diary will also be inaugurated by the honourable CM inside the temple after darshan. Later Vedaseervachanam will be rendered. After on the CM and his entourage will proceed to the Vahana Mandapam and take part in Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva. In view of the CM's visit we have enhanced the vigilance and security measures also", he added.

Later briefing on the arrangements, the JEO said, all arrangements are in place and we are set for the big fete. Be it annaprasadams, food, water, power, security, transport etc. we are prepared with our work force to serve the pilgrims without causing any inconvenience to them. Especially, this year we have identified additional parking place which also includes the space behind Nandakam Rest house that could accommodate over 50 RTC buses. The pilgrims, those who had witnessed vahana seva in North Mada street galleries can easily make use of these buses for transportation after having darshan of vahana seva. We urge the pilgrims and locals to co-operate with the management over the traffic norms and two-wheeler restrictions on Garuda Seva Day", he added.
