PRE DEEPAVALI CELEBRATIONS IN RAJBHAVAN

Pre-Deepavali celebrations are held at the Raj Bhavan here today. Hon’ble Governor Sri ESL Narasimhan and Lady Governor Smt Vimala Narasimhan, Prl. Secretary to Governor Sri Haripreeth Singh, Joint Secretary to Governor Sri Patnala Basanth Kumar and other officers and their family members actively took part in the celebrations.

To mark the occasion, the staff and their children presented various cultural programmes. A humorous skit, MANALO EVARU KOTESWARDU, presented by Sri Vidya Sagar, Liaison Officer, Raj Bhavan attracted the audience and received applause.

This is an occasion where all the officers and their family members are invited to participate in various socio-cultural programmes. Particularly this year, various sports and games like shuttle badminton, table tennis, chess, caroms, musical chairs, tambala and Rangoli were conducted exclusively for women.

Later, the Hon’ble Governor and all other officers and staff members burst the crackers and the staff enjoyed the delicious dinner hosted by the Hon’ble Governor.
