Ankurarpanam of Pushpayagam Performed

Tirumala ,6 November 2016:The seed sowing festival, Ankurarpanam was performed with religious fervour in Tirumala temple on Sunday evening.

The traditional mritsangrahanam was performed where putta mannu was collected and Navadhanyas were sowed in mud pots at Yagashala.

The ritual was performed under the supervision of the chief commander of Lord Sri Viswaksena. Temple officials took part in this fete.
