Telangana State Government is setting up an exclusive
Pavilion at the 36th edition of the popular India International Trade Fair
(IITF), which is scheduled from November 14-27, 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New
Delhi.
Hon'ble Tourism Minister Sri Azmeera Chandulal would
formally inaugurate the Telangana State Pavilion at 3 PM on 14th November 2016.
Hon'ble IT & Industries Minister Sri KT Rama Rao would
be participating in the State Day Celebration at IITF on 21st November 2016.
The theme for the 36th Edition of IITF is Digital India. The
Telangana Pavilion would showcase the various initiatives, policies and
projects launched under the Digital Telangana umbrella in the state.
The State Pavilion was designed under the guidance of
hon'ble Minister Sri KT Rama Rao.
Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department
Sri Arvind Kumar, Secretary of Information Technology Department Sri Jayesh
Ranjan, Director Digital Media Sri Dileep Konatham are overseeing the Pavilion
setting up works since past four weeks.
The State Pavilion facade has been designed as a replica of
T-Hub Catalyst Building. Highlights of various E-Governance, M-Governance
initiatives, and other state government IT initiatives like TASK, SoFTNET,
T-Hub, and Game Tower are being showcased at the Pavilion. A model of Fiber
Grid is also being displayed at the Telangana Pavilion.
A special Video Pavilion has been created which will display
various promotional videos about Telangana Tourism, Telangana Policies, and
various Investment Opportunities in Telangana.
Apart from this various state government agencies are
setting up their stalls. There would be stalls selling Telangana handicrafts,
handlooms, and food as part of the Pavilion.
