Whipping up the Christmas cake of your dreams

Green Park, Chennai Ushers in the Spirit of Christmas by organizing the “Traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony” at Sesh Mahal, GreenPark.

This unique ceremony will not be restricted only to bakery kitchens, but celebrated along with guests and special invitees also.

Mixing of fruits and nuts with spirits is indeed a sight to cherish, with in house guests and Chief Guests, our own Mr. Sudip Sengupta Asst. Vice President, Green Park Hotels & Resorts Ltd, Celebrity stars Mr. Janagaraj,

Ms. Varalakshmi SarathKumar, Ms. Janani Iyer, Ms. Sshivada Nair,

Mr. Kalaiarasan, Mr. Rama Krishnan, Mr. Bala Saravanan, Mr. Shankar Sri.    

Mountains of chopped raisins, almonds,pista, walnuts, blackcurrants, dates, cashews, tuti-fruity, cherries and more…flavoring spices and assorted spirits; this mix will be allowed to soak in the liquor for weeks together before it is transformed into puddings and Christmas cakes.

The event will be inaugurated by Mr. Ravi Kumar, General Manager

 with Sr. Executive Chef Thangappan in the lead and long staying guests and dignitaries by his side. The guests and invitees will dress up in aprons, chef caps and gloves as they participate in the ritual with much enthusiasm and cheerfulness to make definite memorable moments…

Chef Thangappan says that the perfect blend of this soaked mix will enhance the taste of the Christmas cakes and puddings, to usher in the spirit of the festive season.
