Mass Cleaning in Cottages to Avoid Bugs Menace - TTD Eo




Tirumala, 3 March 2017: To avoid the bugs and mites menace, TTD has been taking up mass cleaning activity regularly and will improve the same in Sudarshan and other cottages too, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

While taking calls from pilgrims across the country during the Dial your EO program at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, the EO answering a pilgrim caller Mrs. Sirisha from Nellore, who brought to his notice about the bugs menace in Sudarshan cottages, the EO reacted the mattresses and beds will be changed.

Another woman devotee Mrs Uma Devi from Chennai sought whether it is possible to allow grand parents too along with the parents if int he case twins are born. Answering the caller the EO in such special cases, the officers on duty will be guided to act accordingly.

A pilgrim devotee from Hyderabad Mrs Padma complained of the unhygienic practices being followed by fast food centres in Tirumala in spite of TTD keeping environs clean and tidy. The EO reacting to this said, necessary measures will be initiated.

Another caller from Chennai Sri Vijay Kumar said, TTD should observe Gita Jayanti, for which the EO replied TTD has conducted Bhagavat Gita parayanam in 100 centres in AP on the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti.

A pilgrim caller from Bengaluru, Sri Lakshmipathi suggested for a parking place at Srivarimettu also as it is becoming difficult for the devotees coming from Bengaluru to take up Alipiri when Srivari Mettu route is available. The EO said, TTD is already running free buses for transporting pilgrims to Srivarimettu. "We will also look into your suggestion and its feasibility to implement", he added.

A devotee Mrs. Hemalatha from Bengaluru said the LED screens in Kalyanotsava Mandapam are not clear for which TTD EO said, they will be replaced.
