National Seminar on “Skill Development and Employability in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors”

One day National Seminar on “Skill Development and Employability in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors” is organized  in Hindi Maha Vidyalaya, Hyd today.
Inaugural session was presided by Sri Surendra Lunia, President of HMV Educational Society, with inaugural address delivered by Sri Potturi Venkateshwar Rao, Former Chairmen, A.P. Press Academy. The program has come to a beginning with a Welcome Address delivered by          Smt. Jyothi Hasthak, Principal of the college with the importance of Bachelor of Vocational Courses highlighted by Dr. S. Upendra Sastry, Nodal office and Seminar Director, Where as       Dr. N. V. S. Ravi Kumar. Organizing Secretary of the Seminar has presented briefly the objectives of the Seminar.
After conclusion of Inaugural Session, Delegates and Invited Speakers have deliberated upon the crucial issues concerning to Skill Development and Employability in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors.
During the Valedictory of the One-Day Seminar, Sri Burra Venkatesham, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism in Telangana Government while delivering the Valedictory Address has stated that Tourism and Hospitality Sectors in our country assumes special significance as our country has the rich culture of “ Athidhi Devo Bhava “. He further stated that Hospitality is one area, where people have the opportunity of getting immense pressure through serving others. He also has tried to inject interest in the minds of the young students stating that opportunities in the Tourism and Hospitality Sectors are not only enormous to be grabbed by the youth but also these sectors are very much fetching to them as they can enjoy lucrative salaries through serving these Tourism and Hospitality Sectors.
During this One-Day Seminar, Dr. S. Chinnam Reddy from NITHM, Academicians, Industry Representatives, Research Scholars have participated in a large number.
