Babu Jagjivanram Remembered

Tirupati, 5 April 2017: Remembering Babu Jagjivan Ram on his 110th birth anniversary, Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju said his services to India and struggles for the rights of the marginalised are immortal.

Addressing the birth anniversary of Babuji in the program organised by Welfare Department in the quadrangle of TTD administrative building, he said,
Jagjivan Ram was a fighter and a winner always. "It was while he was defence minister that India won the Bangladesh war and a new nation was created. We witnessed the green revolution when he was India’s agriculture minister. He made his mark in every port folio he served as deputy PM, labour, transport, Railway minister etc.", he observed.
