Telangana has become a fast

in the history of Telangana during the last year. The 600 MW Kakatiya Thermal Power Plant Stage-II at Bhoopalpally, 4 X 60
MW (240 MW) units of Hydro capacity at Lower Jurala and first unit of 30 MW of Pulichintala were
commissioned during the last one year. The KTPS VII stage (800MW) works are
going on war footing. The initiative of Government to develop power
through public sector has received appreciation from all over the country.
This
year, maximum peak demand of 9191 MW was met on 31st March, 2017. During month
of March, 2017 TS Power Utilities could supply a record energy of 178.26 MU daily
