Navami Asthanam Observed in Tirumala

Tirumala, 5 April 2017: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) observed ‘Sri Rama Navami Astanam’ at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Wednesday evening. Temple priests performed Snapana Tirumanjanam (Celestial Bath) to processional deities of Lord Rama, Seetha, Lakshmana, Anjaneya Swamy at Ranaganayakula Mandapam inside Srivari Temple in the morning between 10 am and 12noon.

The processional deity of Lord Rama was taken on a procession in the four mada streets on Hanumantha Vahanam. Later, on their return to the temple, the temple priests performed special Pujas.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkars Sri Ramesh, Sri Ashok and others took part.
