organised a “One Day Reorientation and Capacity Building Program for District
Officers of Siddipet and Janagaon in the Context of Telangana on May 25th, 2017
at Integrated Collectorate Complex at Siddipet.
Sri
A K Goel, IAS (Retd.), Adviser to Government of Telangana for Planning &
Energy, in his Inaugural Address, said that the Government’s
innovative schemes like Mission Kakatiya, generous allocations for irrigation
projects, focus on revival of rural economy, etc. have given a big boost to the
multifaceted development of the State. Continuing his address, he said that the
hallmark of all the programs of the Government is their wider coverage of all
sections of the society, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. ”In fact,
the Hon’ble Chief Minister has gone on record by emphasising that growth has no
meaning and even legitimacy, if the poorer sections of the society are left
out”, said Sri Goel and paid rich tributes to the leadership of Siddipet in its
success in providing drinking water tap connections to each household in
Siddipet assembly constituency about 20 years back. He called for use of
technology for water use efficiency and for urban planning.”The reorganisation
of districts has been done with a view to taking the administration closer to
people and to formulate suitable policies to address the problems unique a
district”, he added.
Sri
Venkataramareddy, IAS, Collector, Siddipet said that
Telangana is in the process of transition from a shackled economy to that of an
economy which is being nurtured back to fulfil the long pending needs of its
people. He said that the Government is reorienting its policies and programs to
put the economy of Telangana on a higher growth trajectory and called upon the
officers to reinvent and reorient them in tune with this paradigm shift.

Janagaon district, despite having been a backward region of erstwhile Warangal

districts people have better access to administration. “While physical,
financial, and technical resources are important in their own right, Jangaon

of its employees for taking Janagaon to greater heights and to fulfil
aspirations of people of Janagaon.
