Teppotsavams in Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple from June 5th - 9th

Tirupati, 27 May 2017: The five-day Float Festival in Sri Padmavathi Temple of Tiruchanoor is being celebrated from June 5 to 9 this year.

This annual teppotsavams will commence on the auspicious day of Suddha Ekadasi and concludes on Pournami(Full Moon Day) in the month of Jyestha(May/June) in every year. 

On the first day the processional deities of Lord Krishna flanked by Goddesses Rukmini and Satyabhama take celestial ride on the float while on the next day Lord Sri Sundera Raja Swamy while on the final three days Goddess Padmavathi in her full splendour takes celestial ride on the finely decked float.

Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Astottara Sata Kalasabhishekam and Lakshmi Puja were cancelled by the temple authorities.
