Vengamamba Jayanthi on May 9th

Tirupati, 5 May 2017: In connection with 287th Birth Anniversary of Saint poetess Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanthi, special programs will be observed in Tirumala.

As a part of this there will be Pushpanjali in Vengamamba ghat at 4:30pm. The processional deities will be taken to Narayanagiri Gardens and Unjal Seva is performed between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Renowned artiste Sri Nageswara Rao and co will render Vengamamba Keerthans. Ramakrishna Mutt Tirupati chief Sri Anupamanandaji Swamy will deliver religious discourse.

Earlier TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao along with Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar released wall poster with respect to Vengamamba Jayanthi in his chambers in Tirupati on Friday.
