Sudarshana Chakrattalwar Gets the holy dip in Apalayagunta

Appalayagunta, 14 June 2017: On the last day of the annual Navahnika brahmotsavams in the famous shrine of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy at Appalyagunta, the Ayudhapurusha-Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was immersed in the holy waters of temple tank on Wednesday.

This fete took place between the auspicious hour of 10:15am and 10:30am. Earlier Pallaki Utsavam was performed where in the divine disc of Lord was taken on a celestial procession around the temple streets.

In the evening, Dhwajavarohanam will be observed marking the successful closure of the nine day festival.
