Tirumala, 9 June 2017: Processional deities were rendered Kavacha Pratishta where in the Golden Coat was decorated to Lord Malayappa Swamy and then taken to Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in the evening.
In view of the festival, TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Vasanthotsavam where as thomala and archana were performed as Ekanta.
