Gokulam Celebrated with Religious Fervour in Tirumala

Tirumala, 15 August 2017: In connection with Gokulastami on August 15, the Hill town of Tirumala observed the fest with religious fervour. 

As a part of this fest, special abhishekam was performed in Gogarbham Dam gardens to Kaliya Mardana Krishna with milk,  honey,  curd,  coconut water and turmeric.  This was later followed by Utlotsavam where in the local boys competed with each other to break the mud pot and provided a feast to the eyes of devotees. 

ASTHANAM

in connection with Gokulastami, the temple court - As than a man was performed at Bangaru Vakili in Tirumala temple between 8pm and 10pm.

The archaka renered  

Sri Krishna Charitam chapter in front of the processional deity of Lord Sri Krishna and arti was rendered. 

Meanwhile Utlotsavam will be observed on August 16 in Tirumala with religious ecstasy.

TTD is making elaborate arrangements for the festival.
