Tirumala, 24 September 2017: As a part of the ongoing nine-day brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Sunday, the Lord Malayappa Swamy as Lord Sri Krishna took an elegant ride on the five hooded serpent King Chinna Sesha Vahanam.
SI

GNIFICANCE:
During samudra Madhanam episode, when the deities and demons were churning the milk ocean for divine nectar, they used Serpent Vasuki as rope. By taking ride on this vehicle, the Lord enlightens pilgrims, that in spite of his mightiness, Vasuki Naga remained humble and patient for a good cause while Devatas and Asuras were churning the milk ocean using him as rope. So it gives a clear message that it is not our mightiness that makes us great but our patience and politeness.
TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Ex EO Sri L Subramanyam, CVSO Sri Ake Ravikrishna, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao and others took part.
