Pavitramalas Offered to Goddess Padmavathi on Second Day

 

Tiruchanur, 5 September 2017: As a part of the second day of the ongoing three day Pavitrotsavams in Sri Padmavathi Temple at Tiruchanoor on Tuesday, the sacred Pavitra Malas have been offered to deities in the temple as per temple tradition.

 

The colour threads oven out of special silk material were decorated to Dhwajasthambham, presiding deity, processional deities and other deities of the sub-temples located in temple premises.

 

The Pavitraropana took place in a ceremonious manner amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by temple priests as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agamavidhi.

 

Special Grade DyEO Sri Munirathnam Reddy, AEO Sri Radhakrishna, Suptd Sri Ravi and other temple staff were also present.
