Score Witness Pournami Garuda Seva

Tirumala, 6 September 2017: Tens of thousands of pilgrims thronged the hill town to witness pournami Garuda Seva on wednesday evening.

Braving the heavy down pour pilgrims occupied all the galleries in the mada streets to take a glimpse of Lord Malayappa on Garuda Vahanam.

The procession was a colourful affair with the bhajan troupes performing various art forms in front of procession. While the TTD security with the help of  police, srivariseva volunteers and scouts made security arrangements.

Tirumala premises reverberated to the rhythmic chant of Govinda Namas by devotees.

Tirumala Pedda Jiyangar swamy, Chinna Jiyangar Swamy, Tridandi Chinna Jiyar Swamy, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and other officers were also present.
