Strengthen the TTD Blood Bank - TTD JEO

 

Tirupati, 8 September 2017: There is need to strengthen its blood bank by taking up a massive publicity activity said, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

 

The JEO took part in the blood donation programme in Central Hospital of TTD at Tirupati on Friday. The drivers of Vishnusaradhi Society made blood donation. Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said there are 65 drivers in TTD Transport wing belonging to this society and among them 30 persons registered for blood donation. "It is indeed a good service is dearth of 80 lakh units of blood across the country and 10 lakh units across the state. "To overcome this, we can do our bit. There is need to bring awareness on the importance of blood donation. Enlighten our students studying in 34 educational institutions of TTD. Those who have completed Intermediate can do the blood donation", he added.

 

Chief Medical Officer Dr Nageswara Rao, Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy, Vishnusaradhi Society President Sri Appi Reddy, drivers were also present.
