The 1K Run to kickstart the colourful 'Kirrakk Kabaddi Season-2' Wasflagged off

·         Citizens of Guntur joined a galaxy of glamorous small screen stars, in the run.

Guntur, September 15^th, 2017:The 1K Run hosted by Gemini TV, to kick start the exciting & colourful Kirrakk Kabaddi Season-2 @ Guntur, was flagged off by Sri Mannava Subbarao, Chairman, NTR Mirchi Market Yard,Guntur and the citizens of Guntur joined a galaxy of glamorous small screen stars including Ms Bobby Lahari & Ms Sireesha of Amaravathi Angels; Ms Sujitha & Ms Sushma Kiranof Chittoor Challengers; Ms Kavitha &Ms Swetha of Godavari Thunders and Ms Shruthi & Ms Soujanya of Nizam Porisin the run.

The run was followed later in the day by 40 gorgeous female TV stars from Telugu Television industry, for the first time under one roof, as part of the 4 teams, clashed for the Title “KIRRAKK KABADDI", a premier initiative of Gemini Television, at the NTR Indoor Stadium, Brundavan gardens, Guntur. The event galvanised the sport of Kabaddi and transformed in to an aspirational game for the actress and fans alike.

KIRRAKK KABADDI, was an astounding success in its first season and is all set to make its much-awaited return for the second season. It will be ready to hit the Television this season as a biweekly, on every Saturday & Sunday, from 9:30 pm to 10.30 pm.

The four teams that battled in the 'Kirrakk Kabaddi' were, Amaravathi Angels; Nizam Poris; Godavari Thunders and Chittoor Challengers. Each team had a Mentor and Captain, along with a male actor to cheer their teams.

The teams comprised of

Amaravathi Angels : Mentor: Bobby Lahari; Captain: Sireesha, Sree Padma, Priyanka Lokhande, Uma Maheswari, Maadhavi, SireeshaChoudary, Himaja, Nikitha & Teja Reddy.

Chittoor Challengers : Mentor: Sujitha; Captain: Sushma Kiran, Veena, Mahathi, ShravyaSruthi, Laxmi Priya, Vijaya, Reshmi, Sushma &Pavani.

Nizam Poris : Mentor: Shruthi & Captain: Soujanya, Priya Hitesh, Anjali.K, Geetha Bhagath, Jhansi Rathod, Jostna Chukariya, Bharathi, Maadhavi.A& Varsha Naidu.

Godavari Thunders : Mentor: Kavitha; Captain: Swetha, Madhulika, Bhagya Sree, Indu, Latha, Meghana.S, Nandu, Ramya.G & Shravana Sandhya
