TTD Pavitrotsavam Commences Govindaraja Swamy Temple with Ankurarpanam

 

Tirupati, August 31 :  Ankurarpanam will be  performed  tomorrow at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple ,here as part of the three day long Pavitrotsavam event. 

 

Temple priests will perform Senadhipathi Tiru veedhi event  in the morning and Mrutsam grahana, Punyavachanam and Vishesha puja  in the evening . Special rituals will also be performed in the temple to ward off evil effect of misshapennings  in temple  and uphold the sanctity of the temple

 

Devotees interested in the Pavitrotsavam could participate with payment of Rs.500 ( per couple) and receive one Pavitram as prasadam . Cultural program including harikatha and bhakti sangeet  will be conducted in the Sri GRT temple premises  by the artists of HDPP,Annamacharya project every day
