Grand Pavithrotsavam at Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple

 

Tirupati, 12 October 2017: The three day grand Pavitrotsavam festival at the at sub temple, Sri Kodandarama Temple,Chandragiri  commenced with pomp and glitter of the pavitra samarpanam on Thursday.

 

In the morning Suprabatham, Sahasrarchana and Nityarchana were performed the utsava idols of Sita Lakshmana with Sri Rama were brought to the Yaga shala where Homa kumbharadhana, mandala puja and upa-kumbharadhana homas were performed

 

As part of the event  pavitrams were submitted to  idols ofmain deity, Sri Narasimhaswamy,Sri Goda Devi ammavaru,12 alwars,Sri Venugopalaswamy and Sri Anjaneya swamy, Sri Garuda alwar, Sri Viwaksena swami, homa kundam, balipethams, dwaja sthamabams at the yagashala.

Among others TTD local temples Dy EO Sri Venkataiah, AEO Sri Dhanajayalu, Kankanabhattar  Sri Krishna Bhatta, Temple Inspector Sri Lilasri ,other officials and devotees participated.

 

Sri Sitarama Kalyanam @October 13

 

On the ocassion of the Punarvasu,birth star of Lord Sri Rama,the TTD plans to conduct grand Sri Sitarama Kalyanam in the evening of October 13.Interested devotees could participate with a token payment of Rs,300 (per couple) and beget blessings of Lord along with one Uttariyam,One blouse, Appam and Anna prasadams .
