Tirumala, 10 Oct. 17: On the directive of the TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal the TTD has launched a comprehensive survey on facilities in its rest houses at Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara to focus on better amenities for common devotees.
Speaking to newsmen after review with officials on successful conduction of the annual Brahmotsavams the JEO (Tirumala) Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said that the survey aimed at improvement of all facilities like - lights, fans, bed linen, blankets, toilets, geysers, cleanliness of toilets.They Survey was afoot at Ram bagicha, ATC, GNC, SNC, TBC, Narayana giri, Kalyanai, Kausthubham, Sapthagiri, and Varaswamy rest houses.The devotees were questioned about facilities and improvements sought and amends were made for future implementation.
The JEO congratulated the staff of all departments for coordinated efforts and successfully and effectively conducting the annual Brahmotsavams. He urged the officials to keep up the tempo by serving the devotees in the ensuing Peritasi month and also on Vaikunta Ekadasi day of December 28th and New Year Day.
