Tirupati, 20 November 2017: Necessary initiatives should be taken to account the foreign currencies offered by devotees in Hundi by converting them into Indian currency, directed TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.
While reviewing with senior officers in Meeting Hall of TTD Administrative building on Monday, the EO said, this issue should be immediately negotiated with AP Resident Commissioner at New Delhi by concerned authorities. Towards the construction of new Boondi complex in Tirumala, the engineering officials should come up with an action report he added. He also directed that the FMS Call Centre should facilitate the pilgrims to get improvised services.
The EO complimented the performances by various artistes during the ongoing Ammavari Brahmotsavams. He instructed the concerned to engage similar expert artistes even for Tirumala Brahmotsavams next year by negotiating with cultural department of different states. He also appreciated the new PA system procured by R and B department of TTD for the sake of artistes.
