Andaman & Nicobar Team to Study Civil Supplies IT Project

Andaman & Nicobar Officials Team applauded the results Telangana Civil Supplies Department by utilization and implementation of Modern Technology in public distribution system . 25 delegates team from Revenue, Finance, Civil Supplies, IT, Zilla Parishat, Education, Election Commission departments visited  Civil Supplies Bhavan, Somajiguda, on Thursday. Commissioner for Civil Supplies Sri C.V. Anand held a meeting with the delegates. 

Ikhlaq Ali, N.K. Nazeer, K. Anwar Rasheed, Sheela Premji, Hema Basu, Elizer, Amith Biswas, Salona, Magdaline, Adimulam and others were in the team.

They team members observed the implementation of e-Pos, T-Ration App, Online Procurement Management System (OPMS). They asked about the details of supply of ration commodities, number of ration shops and ration cards, number of beneficiaries taking ration commodities every month without any irregularities.

Speaking to the team Commissioner Sri C.V. Anand said that Telangana government is very much supportive in implementing modern technology. He said that Civil Supplies Department achieved great results by using technology where ever needed. Mainly PDS rice black marketing is stopped. Steps are taken to view live transactions of ration commodities start from godown to the beneficiary.
