Banquet held at Raj Bhavan in the honour of Hon'ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind on 24-12-2017

Hyderabad, December 24:     Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan, Governor of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana held a Banquet at Raj Bhavan in the honour of Hon'ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday. The President of India who is in Hyderabad for the winter sojourn, graced the banquet accompanied by Smt. Savita Kovind, Lady President and their daughter, Ms. Swati. The President of India was given a warm welcome on his arrival at the Raj Bhavan by the Governor Shri Narasimhan, Lady Governor Smt. Vimala Narasimhan and the Chief Ministers of A.P. and Telangana Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The Governor introduced to the President of India, the prominent personalities who attended the banquet including Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, Chief Justice of AP & Telangana,  former Governors of Tamilnadu, Shri K. Rosaiah and Shri P.S. Ram Mohan Rao, Shri Sujana Choudhari, Union Minister, Shri Y. Ramakrishnudu, AP Finance Minister, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, MP, Shri AP Jithender Reddy, MP, Shri China Rajappa, Dy. Chief Minister of AP, Shri Kadiyam Srihari, Dy. C.M. of Telangana, Shri Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Home Minister, Govt of Telangana,  Speakers of A.P. and Telangana, Chairmen of AP Legislative Council, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana, DGPs of AP and Telangana, Advisors to Government of Telangana, and former DGP.

Senior politicians including Shri Jana Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Narayana, Shabbir Ali, K. Laxman, G. Kishan Reddy also attended the banquet. Several film personalities including Shri Chiranjeevi, Shri Pawan Kalyan, Shri Rana Daggubati, Shri Ashwini Dutt also graced the banquet.

Shri Revanth Kumar, Indian Idol Singer, sang a few songs at the banquet and won the appreciation of all.
