Tirupati, 13 December 2017: The TTD Executive Officer, Anil Kumar Singhal today performed pujas at the Parakamani Bhavan, a new wing located in the TTD Admin buildings,earmarked for counting the coins donated by the devotees in the Srivai Hundi.
While all the currency notes are counted at the parakamani located inside the Srivari Temple at Tirumala, the counting of all coins will hereafter be done at the TTD Admin buildings in Tirupati.
The three story Parakamani bhavan built at a cost of Rs 4 crore comprised of Parakamani hall, scanning and filtering of Indian coins in the ground floor, In the first floor all foreign coins were accounted for and in the second floor torn, colored and spoiled notes would be counted. The third floor infrastrcuture was created for count of the gold, silver and other metal contributions etc.
